My friend told me about this. I add it to the dog food and cat food for my very picky pets. They eat their entire bowl of food if I put just a little mixed with water in their regular dry dog food. Well worth the effort and the cost. I have to give my dogs expensive dog food due to their allergies. This helps my budget as I don't have to throw away wasted dog food that I topped with something they don't like.

My cats like this, off and on. I put a little bit on a separate plate alongside their other food. Some of the chunks are large so I break them into small Kitty bite size pieces and pick out any pieces of bone as they tend to be sharp.

I was wondering why my cat was throwing up after eating this. She’s used to raw meat and healthy food but this one she couldn’t stomach. I looked at the ingredients and it has vegetables and chia seeds. Cats are meant to eat that. I’ll give it to my dogs.

I love this food for my cat. It is easier to administer raw food to him this way and we are on an all rabbit diet right now (well he and his little sister are). He does not particularly like it but I can mix in with his wet rabbit food from Nature's Way and he will eat it. I know it is good for him. There are no extra ingredients, it is just Rabbit. The large chunks could be used as treats but since neither of my kids will eat them as treats it is very easy for me to mash them between my fingers into a powder. I keep it in my fridge to make sure it is fresh. I also make sure not to cross contaminate. I only put this directly into his bowl before adding the wet food. I don't mix it in the can - they don't eat an entire can at once. I am pretty sure I read once it is put into something they need to eat it right away as it is raw it will degrade quickly. My little girl is weird and won't eat anything except dry kibble but my boy is the one with food sensitivities and since going 100% rabbit his bathroom habits have improved greatly. If they would eat it by itself it does reconstitute really well in just water or could be sprinkled on anything or mixed with any wet food.

My cat, who enjoys a rotational diet, is very picky. He's come from a hoarding situation and is also cautious to eat. I will tell you, I was worried that he wouldn't like a freeze dry, but he literally runs to his bowl when he smells the Wysong. The ingredients are wonderful, and I love that the nutrition hasn't been killed off with heat. This is a premium product, and comes with a premium price, but compared to the price of other freeze dried raw foods, it's pretty good (and why I tried this product). I am very happy to now be including this food in my cats rotation. And I can see how excited he is too.

Both my cats love this food and all the Archtype flavors. They're picky (like most cats), but dinner time no longer gets snubbed when I bring out this package. I've found that a top-dressing of this or the rabbit formula will bring them running, and they finish even their least-favorite canned food flavors (all Wysong, but they don't like the canned chicken or turkey much). I don't try to feed this exclusively given the price, but it's good to have on-hand for variety and dietary rotation. For what it's worth, we switched to Wysong food when our 14-year-old cat was diagnosed with 2nd stage kidney disease, and our 13-year-old cat had continuing food sensitivities. Both problems have not only stabilized in the past two years, they're both healthier than we could have hoped. The vet actually commented on how incredibly healthy the now-16-year-old cat is, like a much younger cat. The food-sensitive cat has gone from constant vomiting, litter box issues, and itching to complete normalcy - even better than when on the vet-prescribed hydrolized protein diets ($$$). Highly recommended.

I am not sure about this as a full meal or not. We mix it into Darwins Raw Meat for cats to add fibre and diversity to her meals... Our puff ball has enjoyed everything from Wysong so far... However she will only eat this if it is mixed with other food items and not on its own. Pros: Seems to be well liked by fur friend Comprehensive and diverse ingredients Mixes into wet raw food easily Nice staff on the phone for questions and samples of new items Cons: Large chunks need to be broken down or soaked for a while before serving Not sure whether eating rehydrated food every day will be enjoyed for the long haul Better as a supplement than a main meal
