So let me first say that based on the before and after pictures I posted should give you a good idea of how awesome your cart will look with this kit.. So let me give you the good - first off, the kit comes with everything you need and you will reuse a lot of your original nuts and bolts.. especially on the rear for the u bolts. The craftsmanship of the lift kit is very good and I don’t understand the negative reviews that paint a different picture.. the reality is, this is not rocket science in making a kit like this.. I put this on a 1998 TXT and I did not have to modify anything or run to hardware store for anything extra.. simply put - what you get is all you should need.. the kit was pretty straight forward instruction wise and where things fit but it is highly recommend you YouTube EZGO lift kit install.. it will help you orient yourself with certain aspects of what fits where or what you need to do to install.. You don’t have to use crazy expensive impact tools to install however you will need a tie rod separator, deep socket set, 2 to 4 jack stands and a good floor jack . The bad- the new drop axle has a slightly larger spindle holder than the original in my cart. It meant that I probably would be better off putting a extra bushing to help fill the gap however I chose not to. Why? Well once you put the spindle on the new drop axle with original parts I realized after tighting it closed the gap enough it was not need though I could’ve easily have added.. so consider this as optional.. the instructions were a literal two page and first was picture only of the parts.. However I felt they explained things well enough but it’s crucial you watch videos. The biggest pain is going to be the back end because you will have to take the lead springs off totally and will need to jack up the axle to work on it safely.. I want to note that I did not have to modify, drills holes or make any alteration to the kit.. I found this to be a great inexpensive lift kit that got the job done

It's not bad. The install is fairly simple if you are the type that typically throws out the instructions. The front spindles leave a bit of a gapabout 4mm?, I couldn't find appropriate washers to supplement the gap. The install on the front was fairly easy. The rear was a bit of a challenge. Pro tip do not tighten down either side on the rear until all bolts are in place. For the price I don't see qa better alternative, but the gap is about 4mm taller than the OEM steering kingpin. kingpin/spindle can move up and down. I couldn't find a suitable washer that allowed for the kingpin tube on short notice. Otherwise, I loved the kit. Doing it a second time would probably be done in less than half the 4 hours I spent.

Stay away. U might want to reinforce it and reweld right over the welds. Better yet, save yourself the headache and don't even buy it. After installing, I went for a test drive and I nearly crashed into my neighbors park car. The front lift kit broke at the welds, right in the middle of the welds too. and bent up all my brand new steering components. The factory welds bite and hold but the weld material itself is weak and the metal material they used is even weaker. It's cheap for a reason and u end up spending a lot more money. I ended up making and welding my own lift kit, way stronger and higher too🤙🏻

Parts are heavy duty, I order new shocks and did those while i installed the lift kit. Instructions kinda suck but other than that kits great quality.

Giving thos a three because quality control is where they save money. That said it is priced to sell. I would say this much... if you have the ability and tools to cut/weld/fabricate as needed to make it what you want then this will save you money. If you want an easy bolt on plug and play lift this is not it. I had to score the rear axle block so I could straighten them out and weld them back up so the would fit over the axle and line up with the bolt holes. The front axle is tilted backwards a bit. Doesn't matter for my purpose but it's a thing. Big modifications i made was due to the shock mounts being too short and bent far enough out I had to bend them back to line up. Problem then was if I tightened the new shocks the body would pull down. Also when turned full lock it would contact the tie rod end. All that said...again I stress... if you can do the fabrication it's an ok starting point. I'll be adding a pick of the shock mounts I built on mine.
