Ok, I admit it, I’m a man. However, I’m certainly not the only man that has had a terrible time finding a comfortable and practical boot that is also easy to put on and to clean. I spend most of my time outdoors in a wooded setting, so mud and debris are a big part of my life. I have gone through countless shoes, so have tried, in vain, to find a good boot to wear over my shoes. Giving up on that, I tried finding a good boot to wear without shoes. Ok, there are some of those, but I have yet to find ones that I can just pull on without spending several minutes lacing up and tying properly so as to keep them comfortable and functional. Even then, it seems they all have a very aggressive sole for good traction, and that is somewhat understandable. The problem I have with that is that every time I want to go into the house, I have to spend several minutes, again, either cleaning, or removing, the boots to keep the mud outside where it belongs. When one does that several times a day, it gets very old very quickly. My wife had a pair of the boots that this review is based on. They were sitting by the door one day when I quickly needed to run outdoors in the rain, so I slipped them on. While a size too small for me, I was impressed with how easily I was able to just step into them, no hands needed. After being outside in the rain and mud for a bit, I was again extremely impressed with how easily I was able to clean the soles on the outside mat, and actually walk into the house without leaving a trail of mud. Ok, long review, sorry. Bottom line is that I bought a couple of pair in a size larger, and these boots are now the only ones I wear. I can literally wear them all day, and my feet feel great. They are extremely comfortable, plenty warm enough in water and snow, and though the sole does not appear to have a aggressive pattern, they have great grip and are a breeze to wipe off. It is so nice to be able to just slip into them without even using my hands, having them fit snugly like any of the shoes that I wear, and being able to easily wipe them off so I can walk in the house without removing them. Needless to say, these boots are HIGHLY recommended!!

About a 1/2 size larger which allowed me to wear a thicker wool sock. The inner sole is not fixed in place and becomes an issue for me when putting on and taking off the boots. My ice cleats slip off frequently since the back of the boot is smoothe. [My muck boots have a nodule to help kept them in place] Expected them to be warmer as described to be up -8F. Soles are also thinner then my muck boots. They are easy to put on and comfortable and the price is affordable and seem to a good quality.

Spent 3 rainy days camping in a wet, muddy area and my feet were dry as could be in these boots. Wish they came in half sizes as I sized up to the next whole size and it's just a bit too big. Thought the extra room would be helpful for using arch inserts but these boots were comfy enough without them! Got a bit warm in them once the temperatures reached close to 90 but that's to be expected in hot, humid weather. Feet never got cold when it was 60 and pouring rain.

So these boots are very comfy and cute! I usually wear an 8 1/2 or 9 and I bought the size 9 and barefoot they are a little roomy but not too roomy, but with socks fit great. if I had sized down they would fit but not sure if they would fit with socks. These boots are so pretty! You will not be sorry. Get the boots!
