I purchase these whistles as a giveaway for a course that I teach (Flagger Training). While these are obviously very inexpensive, the sound quality is super and it does the job. Beware, though, the cords WILL get tangled if you are not careful; the last batch was gently slid out and each cord securely wrapped around the whistle to prevent that from happening. It took me quite a while, but it's a good job to do while watching Jeopardy.

I bought these to include as little filler items for my OCC boxes, but was concerned that the low cost meant a cheap product. I am so glad I was wrong! Yes, the whistles are plastic- but they are EXTREMELY loud and very easy to use. They come very neatly packaged, and in my case the strings were attached and luckily not too tangled. However, they do not come with the string knotted-(probably so you can make the length whatever you want). Overall I’m thrilled I bought these.

Like the colors and sound level. Reasonably priced. Down side and reason for four instead of five stars is having to tie each individual string for each whistle. It would have been better to come tired and adjust length or cut strings off if too long or not wanted. My fingers are sore from tying. Otherwise, happy with purchase.

We got these to give out to nieces and nephews to irritate parents and they're great for that! They're super loud, will scare your pets and aggravate your siblings. You have to tie the strings on yourself, so by the time you give them out, you're good and irritated too.

I bought these for few occasions at school and birthday party goodies. We immediately tried 3 of them and they all work awesome. Very loud,easy to blow. Definitely recommend it .

I didn't realize these whistles had strings attached that had to be knotted before I threw them out to the crowds. I would have sent them back! All in all most kids liked them. Adults could care less....so I threw half of them out to the crowds without the strings on them. WON'T PURCHASE AGAIN!

Great value! Large enough for a toddler, but great for all ages. Bright colors, with the "rattle" ball inside. (I was wondering about that.) And the whistle is LOUD! At least in my house. :) Unwrapping the strings from the packaging took a little time and finesse, but they are worth the effort. Purchased for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes - I'd definitely buy them again.
