So far I haven’t fallen in them, but everyone knows that protection is a one-time thing. The gloves fit well on your hand (if you have a small teenage or thin female hand, you can take it, the straps tighten well). At least my hands will be protected. Recommend for more advanced skaters

I bought these as they seem more comfortable and give you the ability to wear your watch, however, as a beginner skater the wrist guards that come higher up on your wrist seem more sturdy to handle falls. I recommend these ase a more experienced skater that knows how to fall since they give you flexibility but not as much wrist support. Vastly Superior to Walmart junk

My son went through two sets of Walmart wrist guards in under a year. Each one snapped, leaving jagged edges, and he didn't even put that much pressure on them. These are: a) more comfortable, b) watch friendly, and c) most importantly, stronger. For an active 9-year old, these have been worth every penny to avoid a trip to the emergency room for either road rash or a fractured wrist. Doesnt protect your wrist from folding backwards but protects from scrapes

Wish it had a strip in the outside of the wrist to support it. Would help avoid scrapes, but not very effective at reducing breaks.

They good but lower quality

These are cheap in price and quality but they're exactly what I wanted. I can see them breaking quickly. I bought them to be able to wear my Fitbit and they work great for that.

I love how the feel! Much more breathable compared to my last set. And I don't have to worry about the wrist plate moving anymore! The fit awesomely and I love the two straps.l, rather than just one big one. I'm excited to get some use outta them!
