This Montana West x Wrangler Small Aztec Satchel Handbag for Women is so practical and adorably trendy that I could not pass it up. It arrives in a plastic zip bag and inside is a cloth storage bag with the purse inside. I really like that Wrangler always includes storage bags for their goods, especially considering how reasonably priced their purses and wallets are. Anyway, this is a lovely small purse, and I don't even really consider it that small because this purse can fit my phone, wallet, makeup, sunglasses, and more... so for a crossbody bag, I would classify it more as a medium size. The bag is covered in a faux suede that feels very soft and durable, and features a colorful embroidered design on the front. The embroidery is beautifully done with precise, neat stitches and the Wrangler logo patch on top of it highlights everything nicely. On the back of the bag is a zippered pocket, and inside the bag there is another zippered pocket plus an open one. They have included a really cool adjustable strap which repeats the embroidery design and is wide enough to be comfortable on the shoulder. The strap is detachable, so if desired it can just be carried by the top handle like a satchel. The open compartment of the bag does not zip closed, but it does have two magnetic snaps that keep it securely shut. As is usual with this brand, all of the hardware, including the zippers, is very nice quality and chunky enough in look to add to the western appeal of the bag. When I ordered this satchel handbag, it was selling for $44.99, and I thought that price was reasonable enough, but today I see that it is on sale for $34.19 and that seems like a great deal for the quality and look of this adorable purse.

My husband got this purse for our daughter. She has another Wrangler purse that she loves, but it’s much bigger, and she was looking for something smaller. She really loves this purse. She uses it every day and gets plenty of compliments on it. The handbag is well-made and matches the quality you’d expect from Wrangler. The pattern is unique, so you don’t see it everywhere. That’s the main reason people stop her to ask where she got her bag. She uses it more as a crossbody than with the handles. She likes the thicker strap that comes with the bag; it’s more comfortable and distributes the weight better. The bag is the right size—big enough to hold her essentials, a brush, and her Kindle without looking stuffed or tipping over. She was worried the beige color would look dirty or worn after daily use, but the bag still looks brand new. The color stays fresh, and the design details are still clear. She loves this purse and plans to use it for a long time.

I got this purse for my teen and she is obsessed with it! She likes to make the strap as long as possible and wear it down to her knees (she is 5’5”) with her cowboy boots to coordinate. Two teachers at school have asked her where it’s from because they like it so much too. The whole bag is very well made. The strap is wide and strong. The purse has internal pockets for organizing. The strap can be removed to carry as a handbag as well. The stitching on the purse is nicely done, centered and without flaws. The purple color is a soft lavender. This is a great southwest styled purse of good quality. Highly recommend!

I’ve owned and loved other Montana West bags, but this Wrangler Aztec satchel just isn’t quite hitting the mark for me. The design is beautiful, but the Wrangler stamp is awkwardly placed right in the center of the pattern—it really interrupts the flow and would’ve looked much better stamped into the leather trim. Also, take the word small seriously here. It barely fits my phone and wallet, and that’s about it. If you carry anything more than the basics, this won’t cut it for daily use. That said, the leather detailing and crossbody strap are well made and stylish. I’ll keep it for short trips or when I want to add a pop of Western flair to an outfit, but it won’t be my everyday bag like I had hoped.

I like this very attractive, well designed western style hand bag. The description of this purse says it is small, but for me it is more medium. I generally carry a very small purse. But, I do like to have a larger one for those times when I need to carry extras, like my Kindle reader. So this bag holds all my essentials, plus the reader. The purse itself is made of a material that feels like suede. The strap is nylon with a leather like section, and it is surprisingly comfortable to use to carry the purse. But if you don’t like a strap, there is a comfy handle on the bag, too. There is a zippered security pocket on the back that holds my small wallet and my car key fob. The interior of the purse has two side pockets, one open that is perfect for my phone, and one zippered that holds all the little stuff. And, for me, the rest of the interior is for the extras—reader, papers, etc. My only problem with this purse is the dark interior. It would be much easier to find the little stuff if the lining were a light color. All in all, this is a very attractive hand bag that is sturdy enough to last a long time.

It is very well made out of high quality material, has multiple pockets, the perfect size for everyday use and the colors/ design are as expected. It is stunning; I have received so many compliments. I would get it again.

This is a very cute purse with a Southwestern theme and a lively purple color. The bag stands on its own with folding in on itself, has an adjustable strap and has a handle at the top. There is a magnetic closure at the top, but keep in mind there is not anything completely sealing the purse closed, so things could topple out of the purse tips over. It's a fair size too, it holds my massive wallet and a paperback book as well without looking too stuffed. I think this purse is an amazing value and it hasn't shown any wear yet in the couple of weeks I've been using it! I highly recommend this purse!
