Good medium/heavy weight cotton shirt. Some reviews pointed out stiffness of material. It is on the stiffer side, but not to the point of being uncomfortable. I do not have issue with stiffness. I bought the dark red because it was the one that was on sale and was very happy that the color did not run during washing. My dislikes are: (1) size tag was attached with the typical short plastic security lines. When they insert it, it did rip through a few of the threads of the shirt and I suspect it will become a noticeable hole soon. (2) shirt is on the shorter side - seems like the brand that advertises shirts that are not intended to be tucked into your pants. (3) minor, but bottom edge is not rolled and sewn. It’s simply has lock stitched and does not have a good finished look.

A negative 5!!! Ordered 17 1/2x 37, received XL Tall!!! In need for work shirts, tried them on and fit like a tent with selves to short!!! Not able to find anything in my area, decided to keep them and Washed them in medium, still felt like canvas. Put them in the dryer on med low and came out excessively wrinkled, removed them from the dryer as soon as it stopped. Have purchased WRANGLER products for 40 years and this is the worst products I have ever received from this mfg ever let alone not what was specifically ordered!!! Going to find a better clothing mfg to purchase my work and leisure wear from. What a major disappointment for money spent vs quality of product received! ! ! When WRANGLER was made in the USA, never had these issues!!! Hope THE pants I ordered in this same order are going to be the same size I ordered. Still thinking of cancelling the pants due to my dissatisfaction. They haven't shipped yet!!!!

I'm in the Gulf Coast of Texas where mosquitos run rampant. So when I'm working in the early mornings and late evenings, I put this shirt on in order to completely block mosquito bites; I get pretty hot and sweaty, but so long as I stay hydrated, I'm good. If you're working outside a lot like I am where mosquitos are abundant, make sure to pair this shirt with a pair of jeans, a straw hat, and definitely an insect net for your whole head.

I bought this and then had to return it because its a new definition of stiff for a work shirt. You better be planning to wash it a bunch and still wear an undershirt with it. You better need to walk through brambles in winter without getting poked. Luckily, I have since learned to read, and I found that wrangler sells identical styles in a "washed" finish instead of a "firm" finish. The washed finish is great! Its not super thick, so I can wear it outside in the south without suffocating. The protection against snags and thorns isn't as great as the firm, but its much better than a normal shirt.
