I am generally pleased with these jeans, they could be a little looser in the thigh, but then again they are bootcut style. So even though they are relaxed fit, they are a relaxed fit bootcut so do not expect generous thigh room like you would with relaxed straight. I have trouble finding jeans that fit well, at 6' 220 lbs., I have larger thighs but not quite the waist that one would expect to go with larger legs (I'm no Arnold Schwarzenegger, but I also don't have a beer gut). That being said, I have to go up one or sometime two sizes in just about any jeans I own. I tend to wear pants lower on the waist, and I have size 38s that sag a lot if I do not wear a belt to hold them up. That brings me to the main weakness these jeans have--the awkward cut of them. They are meant to sit at the natural waist; not even my late grandfather wore his pants that high. I don't know anyone who wears jeans or any type of pants that high. So where these jeans come to rest on me when I wear them, the crotch hangs low which looks really strange, feels weird, and makes were worried that one wrong move is going to send these jeans straight to splitsville. That's where the thing I like most about these jeans comes in--the material is fantastic. It is lightweight compared to traditional denim, and has a good amount of stretch. I have only had them for a short time so I can't speak to durability over time, but I think the stretch will generally offset my concerns about the weird crotch on these. I got these in the "riptide" color, which is a nice balance between the increasingly overwhelming dominance of dark wash colors out there, and super-light washes that border on white or gray. It is just a nice "blue jeans" color. I'm not sure I would buy this exact style again because the thigh is just a little more snug than I like, but I don't dislike them enough to return them. If you are like me and usually have to size up in jeans to avoid looking like you stole a pair of your wife's skinny jeans, then I recommend going at least one size up, perhaps even two.

I wear a 30 32 usually in wranglers but these were 3 inches too small. I’m keeping them though because my weight fluctuates and I’ll eventually be wearing them. I should have bought these in a 33 32. I weigh 175 and I’m 5 10.

Bought these for my big teddy bear lumberjack bf for work (he's literally a lumberjack, like Brawney the paper towel guy). He didn't complain and seemed fine with them, but they have a ghetto thug vibe to them that doesn't jive with me (his better half and self appointed wardrobe stylist).... Think Tommy Hilfiger-ish if you need clarification with the vibe I'm explaining... I personally never object to his clothing, but I don't want my man sporting thug-life fashion... for work, for play... or ever. I resorted to buying him 6 pairs of levi 519's, and secretly deposited these puppies in the goodwill donation receptical, then drove off pitying the fool whose lap they fall into next. The lumberjack teddy bear has yet to even notice, and everyone is living peacefully since they've "mysteriously" gone missing. But kudos to anyone who's fond of that tragic fashion trend. Vanilla Ice might be a fashion icon to you, and you're entitled to being delusional!

While I initially loved these pants, these things ripped on me 3 (!) times over the past 8 months. It's insane. And I am a pretty fit guy. It's embarrassing taking it to a shop every couple months to patch them up. I really wish another company would make similar style boot-cut jeans, though. Would recommend looking for something more durable.
