So to start off this engine is for dirt bike or quads. Reason is the axle has to be behind the sprocket on the engine so the chain won't hit the stator. That's the issue I've run in to and had to replace my stator cause the chain tensioner I had didn't work too well but the main reason for only 3 stars is do to the carb needle was set completely wrong and when started it would just dump gas in it so it would be red lining till you shut it off but once i fixed that issue and started it I was impressed runs great sounds great still kinda loud even with muffler but it definitely gets you excited when you hear it start up haven't gotten to drive it yet due to stator but when I do I'll leave a better reveiw ... show more

Bought this motor for my son to upgrade his bike at Christmas and it's nothing but issues this far! Heat cycled the engine as if it was a fresh rebuild which included oil changes, the shaft seal for the sprocket immediately started falling out causing an oil leak which was then followed by excessive blue smoke from the exhaust. We bumped up the oil thickness to no avail just keeps getting worse, guess we'll be breaking the top end down for a proper rebuild. Thankfully we're able to perform these tasks however we know not everyone is able to do so. We get that it's overseas manufacturing but really! so be aware you will have some issues may or may not be the same but for what ya spend rebuild what you got! ... show more

This motor has lots of power BUT!!!! it has to have a OIL cooler…hoses have to hook up on the bottom of the motor. Or The top cam and valve won’t get oil the picture is right the oil send and return lines connect at the bottom on the clutch side

Bought this for a atc 70 project, had to make a few modification to my frame for fitment. From what I can find these motors require an oil cooler and that would have been nice to know in the description. Motor fired on 4th kick. 3 stars for the lack of information avaliable or provided.

    • Make sure you have engine mounting bolts and other bolts

Came with the essentials like carb, gaskets, exhaust, intake manifold, engine and all but they forget bolts, and the clutch cable doesn't fit theree no extra cable for you to hook up lever
