I had two sets of precision screwdrivers. Neither was powered, and even with the combination of all their bits together I didn’t have the selection I got with this single item. I purchase the Wowstick Electronic Screwdriver, on Amazon.com in early August and have had it in my shop for just over three weeks. In that time I have found out that this is an invaluable tool, especially if you do a lot of intricate work with small parts. The number and quality of bits alone are enough to make the price worth it. Add in that this unit has an LED light, reversible gears, and is relatively sturdily built and you can get the idea of just how good of a deal this product is. The Ruputas Lithium Precision Screwdriver, aka Wowstick 1F+, is Made in China, but it is a quality tool. Along with the well built electric motor system, which uses a standard receptor for the individual tools, the kit also includes small work mat, a USB charger, a pen holder for your desk, and a suction cup on a ring (connect the device to the ring and the suction cup can hold it on any flat non-porous surface). The first project I used this powered bit driver on was building a new gaming computer for myself. The tiny screws and related works that fit inside a desktop style computer system demand that you use both precision instruments and those that can be easily handled in tight spaces. The Wowstick did the job beautifully. Other projects I’ve used it on include model building (at the moment that is a replica of an 18th-century British warship) and electronic projects such as repairing a classic Fender bass amp. All of these projects require easy maneuverability as well as a sound source for driving the tips. This system is much more than a small powered screwdriver. The system includes 56 popular bits: including Phillips, Slotted, Hex, Torx, 5-point, Y-type, Square, Triangle, Square, and U-type. This makes the unit compatible with just about item that is used in modern electronics, computers, and modeling. If you do work on any of these projects, then you also know that sometimes the corners and cramped spaces in an electronic device can be dark. The light on this unit is perfect for illuminating those dark spots and for helping you in getting aligned. And of course, the USB charging cable means that you can easily charge the device from any source that provides USB connectivity. I’ve used a secondary battery, one used to extend the life of the battery on my iPhone, to charge the unit. With a good charge on the internal battery, and then the backup battery to help keep it charged, you can have a device that will outlast you, even on a long day. I am so happy with this purchase that I will be buying two more for my sons in the upcoming holiday season.     • Pretty Much One of the Best Things for Custom Keyboards
I build custom mechanical keyboards for a hobby, and I bought this purely for convenience so that is my reasoning for purchasing. I see other enthusiasts using this screwdriver and I was curious. After trying it, I can say for certain that this is essential for anyone coming into the hobby. What I like: 1. There is a light at the tip of the screwdriver that comes on when you turn it on. 2. It is fairly thin for a screwdriver, and it can reach cramped places. 3. The kit comes with many accessories my favorites: a small magnetic mat, several organized bits, a traveling case, and a base for placing it on your desk. What I don't like: 1. The base doesn't hold the screwdriver even remotely stable. If you tap on the screwdriver while on the base it will wobble and fall out. It simply just stands there, I wish the base actually held the screwdriver in place securely. 2. The charging cable is mini-USB, I wish the screwdriver was USB C for convenience. Not a major issue, however. 3. I wish the base had charging capabilities. As it is, the one way to charge the screwdriver is through a port at the end of the screwdriver. So it cannot be charged while docked on the base. Overall, I would recommend this screwdriver to anyone who does small projects like mechanical keyboard building, PC building, or anything having to do with technology.     • Excellent Convenient Screwdriver If You Have A Hard Time With Small Screws
It's exactly as I figured it would be, and that is better thought of as a "lazy man's small electronics screw driver". It's built well, with some minor flaws that might disappoint you if you're expecting a smaller normal drill. Pros -Compact -LED Light -Decent Battery Life -LOTS of bits for many small electronic devices -Packaged extremely well -Magnetized to hold screws -Fairly decent Torque without too much Torque for installing screws entering plastic threads or small electronic threads -Convenient for laptops, game consoles, PC building, electronic repair, etc. -Ergonomic pen-shaped design -Not bulky or uncomfortable to use in small spaces -Nice and heavy desktop stand for screwdriver Cons -LED light is only active when screwdriver is being used -Not a lot of Torque for the initial removal of a screw -The tube cases for holding the bits is an awful design -Bits seem to be on the weaker side, although I have not had one break or round out as other users have stated.....yet -May spin in your hand while trying to be gentle with reinstalling small screws -Easy to accidentally push the triggwr switch if using as a manual screwdriver to start unscrewing, or finish unscrewing -Although the bits are on the longer side, an extension or an option for longer bits would be awesome, as I did have an issue with 1 laptop and how far down the screws sit in the laptop housing assembly -The stand is so nice, that it is unfortunate that it doesn't offer a wireless charging feature within the stand -Older Micro-USB port, where USB-C would be preferred Summary This was exactly what I expected it to be. If you are looking for a lazy way to have a small package of small bits to unscrew small electronic and computer screws, with a sufficient light to see what you are doing as you do it, and aren't expecting this to electronically unscrew screws from a manufacturer that has their product's screws installed with loctite, this is for you. But is it a necessity? Well that is up to the person looking to purchase and what they want out of this. I have hands that are in rough shape due to Lyme Disease. This allows me to break the screws loose, then push a button to have it unscrew the remainder of the way, and when reinstalling the screws, gives me a magnetic tip to easily reinstall the screws. When reinstalling screws, I prefer to hold the screwdriver loosely and let it spin in my hand when they bottom out, and give it a very minor twist so I don't strip the screws out in what I'm working on. ... show more
