This is a great product, would like to battery to operate a bit longer, on a large SUV you may have to recharge battery or get a second battery to finish the job. The machine is easy to hold and operate, I had both corded and battery operated units in the past from different brands and sometimes the unit vibrates and get away from your hand when stretched far like when polishing the roof of the vehicle. This unit is far easier to operate while still having the same power as these older units. I would recommend getting some additional hoods since the unit only comes with two hoods and to get the best results you may need to change the hoods depending on the type of polish you use. ... show more

I used this first to wax and polish my Mustang. Good for spreading polish/wax over large areas, but I needed to do the corners and edges by hand. As far as removing the wax, it seemed to me to lack the necessary power to get more than half the dry polish off. You’ll need some extra bonnets too. I thought about returning, mostly because I found it sort of pricey for what it did, but finally decided to keep it. It did make doing my Toyota Tundra go faster, but again I had to remove about half the polish by hand. ... show more

This is suitable for light buffing & polishing. If you have tough water scale to remove (dried on water spots on a boat), this took a lot of effort to remove them. I tried some lightweight 3M cutting agent with it, and also some 3M polish. Neither provided excellent results. A more expensive, electric-corded, professional buffer is likely required for this task. my prior orbital buffer wasn't a wireless one and was just a bit cumbersome to use when polishing my car. i canvassed around on amazon prior to buying the worx and some of the alternatives i saw had smaller pads (albeit cheaper in price). i also liked having the flexibility of being able to use the battery for their other products (an option that wasn't available with the other offerings). the original battery that came with the unit only lasted for about 15 mins tops so i contacted worx to confirm if i received a defective battery pack. they then quickly sent me another battery free of charge so kudos to their customer service dept. it definitely cuts the time that i need to spend outside to keep my car polished and protected (vis doing everything by hand. I use the worx as an applicator and still polish it by hand. the results are definitely an improvement since i've used the buffer). ... show more
