It leaves a lot of fuzz in the bobbin case. It is less expensive than other brands, but I wouldn't use it for anything nice. It's still quite a bit of money for something that is basically paper.

I do a lot of in the hoop projects, so I need a stabilizer that is going to tear away cleanly without leaving anything behind. Usually stabilizers that have a soft feel are the opposite of that, they leave little wispy fibers that can be almost impossible to remove completely. When I received this stabilizer, it has such a soft hand that I thought it would do that. When I tried it though, I was really surprised, yes it feels soft, but it also tears away cleanly. I prefer the feel of a soft stabilizer on my applique projects (I use it behind cut-away on t-shirts), so I do use a soft tear-away sometimes. Now I have found a stabilizer that will work for both! And the price is great compared to the big name brands. I would definitely recommend this stabilizer for any tear-away uses and will be ordering it again! ... show more

This is decent stabilizer. It does the job but it does leave a lot of lint. It often times pulls up lint up though to the top of the hoop. It does gum up my needles a bit to where I have to clean them with alcohol swabs every day, especially if I am using a little 505 basting spray. I don't have that problem with the other tearaway I usually buy, I just needed this one quickly as I ran out. ... show more

I was very excited to find this in this bigger package. This is great value and so much easier to me that getting it on the roll. Just grab a sheet and keep going. Will buy again and again. This is the perfect size for the 5x7 hoop. I use it for almost everything I embroider.

I love this stabilizer and it is perfect for designs that aren’t extremely dense. It tears away very easily which I love. I find when I am stitching animals, or other designs with multiple layers a more firm type is needed.
