Moved into a new house and needed some storage for the garage. Ended up buying two of these racks. For the price I am very happy with the decision to go with these. Assembly is easy enough and was able to put 2 of them together by myself in a couple of hours. Having a rubber mallet helps. We use our to hold a bunch of random things in the garage and have had no problems with the strength of them. Very happy with how solid they are and they will last for years.

I am a Ebay vendor and require a storage unit to store my merchandise. My unit was so cluttered I couldn't get around to get anything. So I decided to purchase this industrial metal shelf to help organize my storage unit. The shelf was very easy to put together but was time consuming, it could have been because it was my first time putting together a shelf of this type and because i was by myself. I highly recommend using a rubber mallet, I didn't have one so I had to use a hammer wrapped up in an old shirt. I'm considering purchasing another one. I highly recommend this product. Edit: I went ahead and purchased another one for my storage unit. I finally purchased a rubber mallet and it worked well. I highly recommend using a rubber mallet. The first one I purchased is still going strong.

I got this at the Black Friday rate, so it was a good deal. Relatively easy to put together and it's sturdy enough for the price. However, the metal shelving really needs a center brace. Granted, I am stacking boxes of books, so they are heavy, but nowhere near 800#. The shelving will collapse in the middle and fall off the metal frame ledge with moderate loads. I had to use some rope to tie the shelves to the frame, and also tighten the frame in the middle. Ratchet straps would be ideal. So, either keep the stored weight down or expect to jerry rig the shelving for heavier loading.

Easy to assemble and holds a ton of stuff. I prefer the metal grate base to the cheap mdf ones. Should hold up longer without warping. While you can’t slide anything on the shelf, add a piece of 1/4” ply or thin plastic board on top of the metal grate.

I bought this in November 2023 and just assembled it this weekend (5MAY2024). It was intended for shelving books and files. It is advertised to hold up to 4000 lbs (800 lbs per shelf). However, after only four bank boxes, the weak wire support for the shelf collapsed. This lead to a ripple effect, which caused the lower two shelves to collapse. I weighed each bank box and they are between 50 - 60 lbs. So, I was not close to the maximum shelf limit. This is simply JUNK. Look elsewhere for a shelf. The advertisements are obvious lies. For a shelf that is rated at 800 lbs to fail at 240 lbs (max) is in indication of deceptive salesmanship and a junk product.

an entire inch short of width and depth. I thought this was a great purchase until I proceeded to add plywood to one of the shelves and it wouldn't fit. Measures at 47"W x 23"D which won't work if you're getting this to hold 2'x2' reptile enclosures. Definitely durable and easy to put together with a rubber hammer but the measurements should be listed accurately. Excellent for general storage but not for those who require specific measurements.
