I'm 5'4" about 120lb female. Who no longer has a lot of strength or grip due to some spinal and shoulder issues. I had an old mattress uve been trying to get rid of and refused to be one of those leave it somewhere people. Enter this tool. Cut through the springs no problem. The edging was a little trickier as it is quit thick but even that I merely needed leverage and was able to cut it into about 10" sections for recycling. It held up well and seemed not to lose sharpness. I cannot speak to longevity. I am sure I will use it quite a bit but it was very much so my stubborn self could get rid of that mattress without having to call for help. So read another review if you work construction. This one is for the random person wondering if it will work on their stubborn problem. The edge of the mattress was about the size of a pencil. I gotta admit I was looking around for what else I could try it on.

Nice bolt cutter for my needs. I'm glad I chose to buy longer handles than I had originally thought necessary. My only dissatisfaction is that I paid for a new bolt cutter and received... well, this may be unfair, but I feel I was sold a garage sale item, which was delivered in a beat up box barely holding the item inside. In fact, I even have the previous owner's receipt. But, it's a tool and it gets the job done very well.

This bolt cutter delivers excellent cutting power with little effort. It feels solid, well‑built, and handles tough materials without any struggle. The long handles provide great leverage, making the job quick and easy. A strong, reliable tool that performs exactly as expected.

For $20 I was able to cutoff a harden MasterLock off a gate. The blade endured a bit of damaged but even so this was about $150 cheaper than hiring a locksmith or a handy man to come by.

Super easy to use. I’ve used it on several things around the garage and backyard, including fencing, bolts, and other assorted items. So far, it’s had no issues and has easily cut through everything I’ve tried. Highly reliable and simple to operate.
