High quality build, as good if not better than the craftsman chest it fills out. Craftsman stopped selling intermediate toolboxes like this and this fit great. I like the slides the feel very smooth and strong. The soft close drawers work great. It’s good to note that you should secure your boxes together top to bottom for safety reasons, and to not have too many drawers open at once. These make the toolbox top heavy, but if you don’t wheel your boxes around much and keep em stationary in the garage like me it’s no bid deal and the added storage is well worth it. ... show more

This box seems perfectly sturdy, nice finish, and has nice drawer guides. It gave me the little bit of extra storage I needed to stay organized in a small work space. Also it was very well packaged to prevent shipping damage. I bought a blue one and it’s a pretty bright royal blue so I wish I bought a black one but that’s not a complaint, just my preference. I would rather not buy stuff from China but I shopped for quite a while, new and used, and this seemed to be the only logical choice. ... show more

Purchased 2 of these tool boxes, one 2 drawer and one 3 drawer, same type, manufacturer, overall sizes. They are meant to be stacked, but are both the exact same outside dimensions. The bottom of the upper cabinet does not fit into the recess of the cabinet below. Needed a 3/8" plywood spacer in the top of the lower cabinet for the upper cabinet to sit on. Smooth drawers that lock closed. Handles seem pretty beefy. Perfect fit for my service body truck. I needed a decent/ budget box to hold some tools in my service truck. It’s no Snap-ON but for the price it’s a great buy! Compared to the Grizzly brand it’s about the same. Grizzly drawers seem a little better at staying closed without the lock BUT the Grizzly lock will rotate by itself with the key inserted going down the road. Grizzly only offers 3 drawers and only one dark green color. The bottom big drawer is loaded with ALL my sockets and still rolls smooth! ... show more

The toolbox seems to be well made and the bearings in the drawers are good. However, this toolbox will piss you off. I promise you if you pull out two drawers, it will flip every time spilling everything. Once, I picked it up to move it and it tipped VERY slightly and both drawers flew open spilling all the tools and hurt my wrist. Maybe this is normal, but my wrist still hurts two weeks later. ... show more

This is a good box for the price point. I don't remember the seeing a drawer slide rating but they appear to be 50-pound slides, although I've seen some rated at 85-pounds that look the same. This box was packed incredibly well for a tool box. I wish other manufacturers would pack as well. It's in a box inside of a heavy duty shipping box, with outside hard plastic corner protectors around the inner box, and full foam guards all around the inside of the inner box. Drawers slide well, no sticking on mine. Good top mat, and drawer liners are okay, but I'll probably replace with something a little more heavy duty. Fits underneath my Craftsman 2000 series upper box like it was made for it. Good box for the price, I would buy again. ... show more
