I purchased this dress to wear to my son's wedding. They asked that I wear a long dress. All I can say is it fit perfectly. I didn't have to pull and tug on it. The comfort sitting was as well as standing. It wasn't so flashy to be overkill. I wanted something sexy, comfortable and classy. And it shows a little leg. This was my second attempt at buying a mother of the bride dress. The first ended up being too formal for the wedding style so I tried this. Im a bustier 5’6” 154 lbs so I ordered the large and its a great fit- not too tight that you can see every nook’n-cranny, but not too loose either. The wrinkles are weird and troublesome because of the polyester fabric but based on another reviewers recommendation i will have it pressed at a dry cleaners to get them removed. The dress is oddly boring when on (might be because the pink is about the same color as my skin!) but leaves room to accessorise. Ill be wearing a corsage and will take another reviewer’s advice and go for a brooch at the top of the waist-to-floor ruffle. With these additions I think its really going to be perfect. I was pleasantly surprised that this dress fit me perfectly! I will be wearing this dress to a fall wedding. I am 5’5” and 148 pounds. The quality of the fabric is good. This was the 4th dress i bought for a wedding and it should have been the first! Its perfect! Classic, elegant, sophisticated yet sexy without overdoing it. It was super comfortable and the fact that you could wear a regular bra was a huge plus. Im wearing a body shaper in the pix but didnt need to - dress hugs in all the right places. I would buy this again in other colors. Definitely recommend. For reference- im 5’2 -approx 145, and a 34D. In 3 inch heels the dress length was good but i took it up an inch ( easily done with hem tape). I also threw it in the dryer on steam refresh to get the wrinkles out vs a dry cleaner ... show more

I chose this beautiful dress to wear for my son's wedding. It was so classy and comfortable! I ordered a medium based on the size chart, but I think I may have been able to go with the small. It was just a little bit big on me, for reference I am normally a size 6 in misses. The length was perfect for me! I am 5'7" and wore about 2" heels, it was long enough and did not touch the floor. I love that it is machine washable. I washed it (on gentle) before wearing it and after the wedding, hung to dry, no problems at all. My only concern was the zipper, it gets a little tight passing the seams at the waist, but I was careful when zipping and it was fine. It's a very comfortable, classy, gorgeous dress.
