Like the fact that I add the lavender oil so I can control how little or how much. I put 2-3 drops of oil on each of the 6 balls. It was just right. Not overpowering and made not only the clothes smell nice but the laundry room/kitchen as well. I believe using them really does cut down on the dryer time and the clothes came out softer than just using a dryer sheet. I love them and wish I had discovered a long time ago. Love these little guys! My clothes come out of the dryer so soft and FLUFFY! I still have little to no static and it has definitely helps with the removal of dog hair during dry times. The lavender oil smells heavenly in and of itself, but I haven't quite figured out how to get it to 'stick' to my clothes. I've experimented with different amounts on the Woolzies and the dryer balls definitely still smell of lavender, but my clothes have rarely retained any sent on them...which kind of defeats the purpose. ... show more

All I can say about this product is where in the world have you been all my life? I was AMAZED at how well these wool dryer balls worked. A friend of mine had given me an Amazon Giftcard for my birthday and this was my purchase with it. I have always had a problem with static cling due to the humidity level in my workplace. I have spent countless dollars on "Static Guard". But no more!! My clothes came out so soft, with much less wrinkling (I hate to iron) and NO STATIC. And they were dry in half the time. I also loved the essential oil that came with them. I added a few drops, and my clothes came out smelling divine! I have purchased many products in my life that did not live up to the hype, but believe me the Woolzies did. Not a gimmick - a good replacement for throw away fabric softener sheets. They last a good long time - I am replacing my old ones mostly because I loose them like socks or the cat steals them. You can buy Woolzies scented oils as part of a package as I did, or separately - they all have a great but not overpowering scent. (I didn't give any stars for 'softness' because that doesn't seem to be relevant to the product's efficacy.) ... show more

    • The smell is so good
I ordered these based on a friend’s recommendation. She uses these for all her linens and her whole house smells divine. I've now rewashed all the bedding and towels in my house because this lavender scent smells just like my lavender plant. It's not a perfume fake smell. Plus, I also have the added benefit of not using fabric sheets or softener that is full of chemicals because the wool balls work really well in the dryer. I have tried many lavender oils. This is by far the best. It is a pleasant scent. Not overpowering. I use it in my diffuser. I add about 10 drops in a spray bottle with 2 oz rubbing alcohol and 4 oz distilled water and spray away. Works great.

    • The balls are great/ the scent didn’t carry.
The scent was pretty undetectable - and the bottle didn’t last long. Other than that the woolies worked great- cut dry time. Perfect for washing duvet inserts, blankets and towels as well. But the knock off ones are just as good.
