This comforter is the best we have ever had. It looks fantastic! The light coloring with the southwestern motif, really blends well and allows this to not clash with everything else in the room. The patter is subtle enough, you are not making a statement or changing the "theme" of the room. It's incredibly soft and fluffy, airy really. As thick as it is, you would think it would be heavy, but it is super light. It is warm but not hot. Right now we are in the middle of our winter and this has been a great replacement. At first I thought it was a little warm, but after a few nights, I must have become acclimated to it. It really gives you a great night's sleep! Our washing machine is finicky so we haven't tried to wash it, but we did do one of those at-home dry-cleaning kits in the dryer and it came out perfect. It had no smell from the packaging to begin with, which is a plus! Overall, this is a fantastic comforter and I highly recommend it! ... show more

The Woolrich Comforter set is nicely design, and combined with excellent stitching. The detailing is excellent and the neutral color goes with most wood furniture and a plethora of wall colors. This has the look of a high-end bedding set, which it is IMO. Here's why my wife may not use it anyway. She does not like the feel. I convinced her to try it anyway, and the problem she immediately pointed out is it does not slide smoothly when making the bed. It tends to be clingy with our blanket. She likes the look and the quality, but the choice of material is the issue. I'll have to begrudgingly agree that micro-suede is not friendly with our winter bedding. I wanted to love this, such a nice design and construction, but for us this probably won't work. But I'll put it up for a couple of months and make the bed with it one day when she's away for a weekend with our daughter. Maybe with our spring and summer bedding it will be better. ... show more

This is a complete re-dressing of a queen size bed, and it is very beautiful and comfortable. It comes with a thick, soft faux suede comforter, two matching shams for standard pillows, and two decorative throw pillows. The Woolrich brand has a good reputation, I'm familiar with them, they have been around for a very long time. I was looking for something warm enough for the cold Northern winter, but not too heavy in weight. This is the perfect comforter, it looks good, it's thick and warm, and it's not super heavy. I was able to reconfigure all the layers of bedding and replace 2 blankets with this one comforter. I have it over a thin quilted bedspread and it's a good combination, I don't feel like I miss those blankets. The pillows are great. They really add a lot to the look of the room. The taupe colors and the Southwest style blend with my existing pieces. This set is beautiful and also practical. The suede fabric doesn't slide off the bed as easily as the last comforter we were using. That one was so heavy we had to take it off the bed after awhile. This one is thicker, but lighter. It's prettier and not slippery. I love this set and I sincerely hope this review helps someone make a decision. ... show more

This comforter is a nice weight for whether is is summer or winter. The quality of the stitching I find to be good. No strings or areas where it appears there is plenty of material to complete the sewing. It seems to be very well made. That’s a star. The color of beige and or tan and egg shell is neutral so it will go with any colors you want to accent it with. I only have two things I was not loving about this set . One the shams. They are suppose to be king shams but they only fit my queen pillows and so there is still a space left where I need another pillow but have no matching sham. The other thing is I find it just a little narrow . It shows the bottom mattress because there. is not an included bed skirt. Maybe it is a pet peeve I have that king comforters should actually be big enough for two people to be under it and the edge still drape over to at least the bottom of the top mattress. Other than those two issues which might just be my own and no one else’s this comforter is well made and a nice weight. They do throw in a couple little throw pillows which I would have rather had more material on the comforter. So I’m giving it 4 stars. 4 stars is good. Fine just not excellent ... show more

This bedding set was exactly what I was looking for. A good quality, warm comforter set with a suble style. This set has a nice, western look without being overwhelming. It's so plush and thick but has a durable feel to it. It fits my king sized bed perfectly, slightly larger than others I've had. The pillowcases are a nice decorative style also. So far it's held up well in a main bedroom with a family with children and dogs. I would imagine I will have to dry clean this from time to time as its quite large for a washer. ... show more

True to size not a short king size. Great quality material. Comes with a comforter, 2 pillow shams and 2 decorative pillows. It does have a nic cotton feel when upu lay on it. It is easy to wash/ clean with no issues and dries really well
