The desk was delivered in a relatively small flat box, which surprised me at first when I saw the box. That being said, I was able to find all the parts needed to put together the desk from scratch. A zip-lock bag of different-sized screws were packed separately with labels, and an instruction manual was included that was helpful for showing how to install the desk. It is important to note the orientation of the bottom panel, as I installed it in the wrong orientation on the first try and had to take it off and reinstall it. Also, the top shelf is detached and essentially a separate piece from the desk. I placed two 27'' screens on the top shelf, and it seems sturdy enough and works fine so far. ... show more

I really like this desk. I bought it to replace my old work desk. This is a bit narrow compared to my old one but works great for me esp for that price. Looks great! Only issue I had was that a part of the top came damaged ( no damage on the box at all) but it doesn’t bother me as it’s out of sight so not a deal breaker. The box had been stepped on by the delivery driver a few times, but nothing inside the package was damaged, thank goodness. Assembling the table was easy. I'm only one person and I did it without any problems. But you might need two people if you don't have steady hands. MEASURE YOUR SPACE FIRST—I cannot stress this enough. I was cruising through Amazon, looking for a desk. And most complaints were about the size or shape of the table. It's as simple as using a tape measurer, people. Not rocket science. That being said, I was able to fit the table in my room just fine and the box was surprisingly lightweight. Recommend to anyone who requires a good desk for an affordable price. ... show more

    • Near-Perfect Desk; Sturdy, Practical and Looks Great.

A week in, I love this desk. It fits perfectly in the corner (measurements accurate), and that I'm not worried to leave all my things and gear on it. The fact the monitor stand is removable but so sturdy is a god-send; being a mixed-media and digital artist, I can change my setup easily without worries. Rounded edges save me from injury each time. If I move out, I will bring this exact desk with me or buy the same one. ----- More info on material and assembly: Upon first impression, the materials felt weighty and good quality; there was some slight surface damage on some of the metal pieces but once assembled, they are out of sight. The finish of the wood was nicer than I was expecting, it is a little cooler than the photos (I was choosing between beech or grey, and reading recent reviews, I made the right decision). For assembly, it took two people and a little over an hour. The instructions were pretty straight forward, but there were instances we thought we were wrong because some of the screws wouldn't secure in the holes smoothly. The color didn’t look like the photo. I could see more of the faux wood grain than I wanted. I wanted something a little more solid looking. So I painted it. Now I love it!

For the price, it was more than i expected. It was easy to put together and seems pretty solid. Wish the top part was able to be screwed into the desk to keep it from moving around. I used command strips to keep it stable. The bottom piece slightly turns down, but that doesn't bother me

Only took me a couple hours to put together (little experience with building), the instructions were very clear, and it came with extra materials which was great because I lose screws all the time. Goes nicely with my bedroom, has plenty of room while also sitting tidy in my bedroom corner! 10/10

.I was skeptical about getting this.desk because it comes in lots of parts.It took me almost 4 hrs to assemble it.It was hard for me to hold the wood and screw in nails same time .I couldn't do it on my own ,luckily a neighbor friend came to the rescue help me put together.. assembly was hard for me .The photo instructions was labeled in letters.The nails come in different sizes and shapes.Glad I got help 4 assembly &my teen son is happy with it..Its sturdy enough & has enough space to do his art work. ... show more
