For a woman, although I am only 5’4”, I have fairly large hands and so many times a cane handle is too thin in diameter, but this style and shape is perfect for me. The cane has received many compliments in the short time I’ve had it. I’m fond of Oriental art and the dragon carving was nicely done. I appreciate that it’s an actual Chinese dragon from folklore, the pearl dragon is also my favorite. The cane is not too heavy, just right. I did need to cut about 5-6” off it for my height. If I had to find fault with anything, it would be the ferrule ( the rubber thingy on the cane tip ) It is either a very hard rubber or plastic and is too slick so it tends to slide on wood, tile, marble floors…easily replaced with a softer rubber one. Very nice, good height for me, I’m 6’1”. Solid and feels nice and secure. The dragon head is the cherry on top, looks great and gives a nice feel! Definitely on the pricey side, so that’s something to think twice about.

Love the dragon cane! Thought my hip was going bad,my Dr. said I have bursitis and to use a cane when walking for long periods of time. So I started to look because there was no way I was going to use a medical style of cane. After cutting to right length the cane works GREAT! That cane's really sturdy, and the black looks awesome. The tip's tough but doesn't slip, which is perfect. I messed up and trimmed it like, three inches, so now it's too short. But I'll get another one and remember to "measure twice, cut once." My bad.
