This step stool is very sturdy and stable with rubber pads on the bottom to protect the floor. It also includes anti-slip rubber strips to stick on to prevent slipping if the surface gets wet. Overall, I love the look and feel of this product. But best of all is the assembly. This has the best assembly instructions I've ever seen hands down. Every part had a small sticker (easily removed) labeling it. The screws were in separate labeled plastic zip bags. And the instructions were a slick heavy paper color printout that clearly showed a visual parts list and then easy to follow diagrams of where each labeled part went. There was a bag of spare parts that I didn't need, plus it had both the Allen wrench and an electric screwdriver tip included! Who does that? I also bought this company's double step stool for the kitchen and it's the same way - everything nicely labeled with easy to follow instructions. I'm still amazed at how well this company does with DIY assembly instructions vs anyone else I've ever tried. If you are looking for a solid step stool with amazingly easy assembly instructions with tools provided then you should definitely consider this product.

Definitely a great sturdy wooden stool the bottom is metal thick metal that holds people with weight very well I use it to climb up on my bed and the stool just gives me that extra height that I need I never fear of it breaking or giving out like I do other things this is a great stool if you're old or overweight or just need some help getting up onto things for a minute I recommend this stool a lot

Our bed is a little high and my wife was having trouble climbing into bed. This little step stool solved the problem and I am no longer sleeping alone. It's very sturdy and not easily moved. It doesn't slide around and the nonslip adhesive strips definitely make you feel safe even when wearing socks. Very easy to put together and a bargain for it's sturdiness.

Very sturdy, perfect size. I use this to get in and out of my high bed. I wear a size 8 US women’s shoe and I can safely put both feet on this stool with plenty of room. The leg base make it very sturdy so if I step half on half off in the middle of the night, the stool does not budge. I applied tread tape strips across the top so I don’t slip. Without the tape, the stool is too slippery especially if you are wearing socks. The base/legs have rubber studs so the stool will not slide on the floor or carpet. I store it under my bed during the day by flipping it upside down and sliding it under the bed. It is modern, sturdy and innocuous. My decor is cottage coastal so I would have liked something prettier, but this works very well.

I bought this for my mom since I have to drive her around and she has a hard time getting in and out of vehicles. It was a snap to assemble, taking no more than maybe 10 minutes to complete. I wasn't a fan of the included "anti-slip strips", though, so I bought my own and applied them instead. You WILL need something for the less "sure-footed" users as the top is smooth and can likely get pretty slick in certain scenarios. Still, it is a stout step that easily supports all her weight and has enough surface area for her to slightly maneuver once on it. The rubber feet practically lock to the ground. I don't know how long that grip will last, but out of the box it is great. Adjusting the height isn't as easy as I would like (you screw or unscrew the feet to do it), but since she needs them as low as possible it's not an issue for me. Still, it would be possible to "adjust" the step and have it be unlevel and needing a little trial and error to get it right. Overall, an excellently built, easy to assemble step. It costs a bit more than others, but it is money well-spent.
