The puzzles are very age appropriate. The fact that they are wooden means that they are not easily destroyed.And even though they are wooden they are not too tough so they are completely safe.Added is the fact that the pictures are at the base of the puzzle hence the little ones have a guide.After they master the art the pictures can be taken out and the child assembles the puzzle without the guide.Its like scaffolding them. The puzzles are also small, colourful and user friendly.The fact that it's small really helps especially for kids who have a smaller attention span.Also they are 4 puzzles so the little ones will not get bored.

The media could not be loaded. I’m giving this 5 stars but I’d say more of a 4.7 only because the pictures on the inside weren’t glued down. Other than that the pieces go together nicely and the pictures are vibrant. We did color code the pieces to each board ourselves for our own needs. It this is a great value for a wooden puzzle set. My son 5yo with autism absolutely loves them.
