Took me about 2-3 hours to assemble with help from my older kids. The instructions are easy to follow. I do recommend having someone to help you balance pieces together while you screw them. For the most part, all of the holes lined up perfectly, I only had one out of the many that ended up splitting a little bit and I needed to drill it out to keep it from splitting more. It's made of cedarwood so I expect that it will last a good while as it is rot resistant. There are a lot of fun, playful touches that the kids really enjoy! This house in particular is a bit smaller than another one we have by the same brand. I would say it's for children five and younger. My 7 and 9-year-old kids are a little bit too tall for it. I added it to my garden area to help occupy my little ones while we work in the garden each day. They absolutely love it!

Putting together the playhouse is easy and hassle-free, and it works well once set up. Both sides of the playhouse get plenty of play time because my sons alternate between using the grocery store cash register and cutting felt food, then using the grill side with working knobs. The playhouse is sturdy when the kids walk on it, and because of the rounded edges there are no rough spots to worry about either. I was impressed with features like the working mailbox and chalkboard, which provide the playhouse with far more character than I expected at this price point. In terms of performance, the playhouse's storage shelf holds all the toys inside neatly, and the magnetic door opens and closes very easily without sticking at all. The cutting food pieces stay put with the hook and loop system, so they don't get knocked off the surface like most loose plastic food sets do. The size and appearance are quite good for the price.

Was easy to assemble with easy to follow instructions and all parts were numbered for identification. We were short by five pieces for the #45 screw. One batten board on the side of the cupola had to be cut due to it being too long to assemble the other side. Easy fix.

The house is cute, but it can't accommodate an 8-year-old as advertised. It's perfect for my 3-year-old, and my 5-year-old can scrunch into it, but no way could an 8-year-old fit. Also, it takes at least 4 hours to put it together. We had two men (one with experience in building houses) working on it and it took 4 hours.

This playhouse ended up being one of the most used things in the backyard because it keeps kids entertained for long periods of time. I really like that it combines different pretend play activities instead of being just a simple playhouse structure. The grocery store setup, grill station, and play food accessories make it feel interactive and encourage imaginative play. The cedar wood construction feels sturdy and much more durable than lightweight plastic alternatives. Assembly definitely took some time, but once completed it looked really cute and felt stable overall. This feels like a quality outdoor toy that kids can actually grow into and continue using regularly.

First of all, this house is made with high-quality materials which is waterproof and uv protective. Second, tge design is fantastic which looks gorgeous and we've been using it out and indoor because of the size. Moreover, assembly takes about 40 minutes and be honest with you has a lot of parts which needs to put together. Besides, the whole frame is super durable and stable which is safe for kids. Highly recommended.

The grocery store / bbq combo is genius. usually my kids fight over toys but there’s enough room for both. one plays "customer" with the cash register while the other "grills" on the side. the little velcro veggies it comes with are such a nice touch. took about 2 hours to put together by myself, pretty straightforward. just a heads up, the box is heavy!
