I have been searching for shelves for weeks. I have looked at every kind, style, size, bla, bla, bla. All I wanted was a towel bar and a place to put towels/washcloths that wasn't the linen closet. I also didn't want to spend a fortune because no matter what I went with, it's going to eventually get wet and/or become warped in the same room as the shower. Then I saw these. I appreciate "less is more" and these were them! I was a little nervous when I saw reviews with warped shelves and hardware but figured I'd chance it. I'm so happy I did! My shelves were perfect (ish) upon delivery. My impression: There was one minor, superficial blemish. So I put that shelf on top. Problem solved; These were also stupid easy to install; I can't believe I'm going to say this but... I actually used the included wall anchors and hardware! That NEVER happens. I was so very impressed with that (I know everyone reading this who has tried to use the included hardware knows what I'm talking about!); Of course, the price point was perfect; I went with this brand/model because the edge of the shelves is in the bracket. They're particle board so there's a greater chance they'll stay flat/level being in the bathroom - no curl up; I also wanted a guard rail because I'm destructive and will knock everything off the shelves if there isn't one. I was absent the day they handed out coordination. 4 instead of 5 stars simply for the material alone (it's cheap and not meant to last) and the missing finish on the shelf I put on top (seriously, not a big deal). But to get 5 stars, you have to be perfect. These weren't but they're as close as! I would absolutely buy them again. ... show more

Better quality than the first kind I ordered. The other type was delivered with the wood already stripped and the screws would not hold. This was already assembled. All we had to do was mount it on the wall which was simple and it looks really nice.

I honestly love these floating shelves. They were a great addition to my bathroom decor post renovation. Not only do they look great, they are perfect for holding various bathroom eseential items. I ordered a second pair, although I only installed 3 in the bathroom. I may use the 4th shelf in the guest bathroom after I renovate it but even if I don't, I like these so much that I don't mind having bought a total of 4, just to only use 3. (Would have been great if they were sold in sets of 3 buy I don't fault the seller or manufacturer for that). Purchased couple months ago finally got time to assemble it. Instruction is easy to read as long as you know how to drill a hole it probably only take you 5 to 10 mins to put the shelf up. The wood shelves, minus 1 star. It's not great quality at all. Half way using screwdriver to assemble up the screw it already break little of the wood. And because of the cheap quality I feel like it should not be installed in the bathroom. The wetness or stream might actually damage the wood. But you paid what you get.
