Used it on a whiskey smoker project, and it handled the job without any issues. Plenty of power for trimming and detail work, and it stayed steady without feeling out of control. The size actually works in its favor too—easy to handle and maneuver, especially for smaller, precise cuts. Build quality feels decent for what it is. It’s not a top-tier professional tool, but it doesn’t feel cheap either, and it gets the job done without frustration. For the price, this is a great value. If you’re doing DIY projects or occasional woodworking and don’t want to spend a lot, this punches above its weight.

I used this to rebuild our hall closet and it worked great. It makes clean lines and was a breeze to use. Very high quality work. I was able to adjust the depth and lock it down so it was very stable. The bits were very sharp so I’d recommend this product.

This is a really nice router for the price. The router came with 15 bits of different sorts. I mean it covers pretty much everything you would need to do. It’s nice and light and easy to handle. It also came with two extra carbon brushes for the motor. The motor brushes are not what you may think they are. They are not for cleaning off your workbench for those who do not know…they are a crucial part of brushed motors and this comes with a set of replacement ones for when the old one, the ones that came with the router wear out and they need to be replaced. Very very handy so you don’t have to go searching for the right part when those wear out. The router also came with a a couple of jigs that helps you run a straight line and things like that so it’s a pretty nice buy. I attached a few pictures to show you what I’m using the router for currently. It’s a DIY project. I am making a steering wheel. PC game. So I take I took the base of the router and screwed it to a board to make a router table. It worked great. I mean it took me maybe 10 minutes to cut a piece of a board I had laying around and I drilled a hole in it and mounted the base to it. It worked great and it’s really handy. I’ve been able to run some grooves and a circular piece of board. I’m really glad my wife bought it for me for Christmas.

It came with a bit stuck in it. I'm glad I didn't cut off my finger taking it out of the box! It's a functional router. But now I have a bit stuck in it and I'm just trying to figure out how to remove it without losing a finger. Not sure why they tighten and loosen so oddly. Maybe mine came broken. If I lose a finger I'll come back here and tell you all about it. I can't afford two of them this month.

This router has been an awesome addition to my tool collection. It’s compact and comes with everything you need as shank bits, a straight guide, a trimming guide, two wrenches, and two replacement carbon brushes. It offers a max speed and six variable speed settings, which is super useful. For the price, it’s surprisingly sturdy and does the job well—seriously, it’s hard to beat. I bought it for a porch repair project at my son’s house, where I needed to match some old millwork that’s no longer available. It worked like a charm for that. The construction and bits are on the cheaper side, like most routers in this price range, but unlike some reviewers, I didn’t have any trouble with holding the bits or maintaining the set depth. It performed just as well at the end of the project as it did at the start. It’s accurate, and as someone new to using a router, it was great to find a solid, budget-friendly option. I do have a higher-end router, but I still use this one for quick projects. The manual is also helpful, providing all the guidance a first-time user would need.
