It was easy to use, and it looks great, but the curves were a little tricky and it didn’t want to stick on the curved edges. I kept pressing the little bubbles and it sticks pretty well now. I rent. My counters have pieces of wood missing and fake ceramic. It was ugly and hard to clean. What I hated the most was it was dark blue and I couldn't see if it was dirty or wet. I admit it took me an entire day to install on my counters, but it covered a lot of area and I was able to perfectly fit it to the sink. It does peel off without damage as for as I have experienced when I needed to redo an section of it. We put it to the durability test when we put the hottest pan on it for an extended period. It did melt through as you can see in picture 3, but it doesn't seem to be an issue besides making a hole. Also, if you use the counter as a cutting board, it will leave cuts in the plastic. I don't really notice them over the year, and we try to use boards anyway. I love how it looks and feels and I would buy again for the next home I rent.

After days of surfing through different products, I ordered this. Bought 2 Rolls for complete my kitchen. Product was delivered as described. As didn't have any experience on contact paper projects took sometime to work-around this product but the installation was smooth, made few errors but was able to fix myself. This definitely changed the look of my kitchen and goes well with white colored cabinets and black hardwares. Pleased with purchase.

Theres a learning curve to applying this and it takes a bit of trial and error, but after wasting a few feet I got the hang of it and it looks and feels good. There is subtle woodgrain etched into it that makes it believable and if you don't look too close you might not know it’s fake. It is however, a temporary solution. Perfect for renters or college dorms, people on a budget or trying out different counters before doing the real thing. It is not super durable to anything sharp, i accidentally dropped a screwdriver on it from a few inches above the surface and it permanently scratched a hole in it so be careful. If you understand what you’re buying this is a great product for a good price.

I had some leftover file cabinet doors from an old Ikea cabinet which were an almost perfect fit for an old Kallax cube shelf I had in my office area. The problem was that they were a maroon red which really didn't go with anything else in the room. I had been planning to use peel and stick flooring to recover them, but decided to risk $9 and see how this contact paper could dress them up. The results were better than I hoped for. There were a couple of wrinkles from the less than perfectly smooth door surface, but they relaxed after a few days. Adhesion worked well, and I used a hair drier to heat the glue after application to help get the edges stuck a bit tighter. I used a dough scraper to smooth the paper during application, and everything went very well. As you can see, the old cube shelf actually looks like something now that I dressed up the doors and added new handles and legs. I'm not sure if I'd try papering a whole wall with this stuff, but it's a good, thick vinyl and the butcher block print looks very nice.

I really want butcher block countertops, but i didn't want to spend the money and find out I hate it. I purchased this to see what it looks like and honestly... it's beautiful. I'll still get butcher block countertops, but I certainly have time to wait.

I bought this last year for my countertops and had to redo them already. This is what $8 gets you. This is how much of the role was actually usable. The rest was wrinkled. I remember this material being very forgiving at first, now it rips if you just look at it the wrong way. It used to be thicker and more durable. Now it's garbage.
