This is a very fine table for the money. It has really nice lines and is well-proportioned. It's sturdy and appears to be made of solid wood. If it's not 100% oak, you'd be hard pressed to know. This coffee table was delivered in a very timely manner. Assembly was simple. It is advisable that you be positive that this table is appropriate for your space and is everything you are looking for, because you will have to bear the cost of return shipping if it isn't. In my case, returning it to New Jersey from New York, the cost as calculated by USPS is about $140.00, more than half the cost of the table itself. ... show more

This feels really sturdy and quality. Assembly was easy - there are only 4 pieces to put together, so once you realize you need to screw the shelf in first, then add the legs and shelf to the table top, it's no problem. Took like 5 minutes total. I love the design. My only complaint is the wood color - the photos used on this listing make this look much more like white oak. But the table I received looks more like red oak. The grain is VERY dark compared to the rest of the wood - it's a lot of contrast and isn't exactly the look I was hoping for. Not going to return it as overall I'm happy with it. However, had I seen it in person, I likely would've chosen something else instead. Such is life! ... show more

This table exceeded my expectations. I was expecting the “old bait and switch” with the wood not be solid oak. I was wrong and it is a beautiful, solid oak, gorgeous grain and very sturdy. The directions could be a bit clearer, but other than that, I am super pleased with this table. I look forward to seeing what other furniture this company will offer, especially if it is of the same quality. ... show more

Would have given 5 stars if not for poor assembly instructions. Pieces were well packed. Assembled table is exactly as pictured and sturdy. Assembly is easy, but Instructions were pitiful. ATTACH LEGS TO SHELF FIRST!!! Then attach table top.
