I really like that this woodburning kit comes with so many accessories! The variety of tips is really nice and I love that it included stencils and pieces of wood for practice. The downside is having to wait for the device to cool down before being able to change tips, but it's not a show-stopper. my husband got me this as I've shown interest before and it's just as cool as I thought it'd be. perfect for a beginner, lots of tool/tip options, includes pretty much everything you'll need to get started. there are a few small pieces of wood to start with but I'd recommend getting a few wood/leather/whatever-you-like-working-with canvases to go with it. 10/10 highly recommend ... show more

Wood burning tips and tightening nut become loose on their own and doesn't stay screwed down... works great as a soldering iron due to not having to attach a tip converter for soldering tips. I recommend a wire nib machine for wood burning.
