These are for my laundry room & kitty room that was getting too hot during the daytime with the door closed. My cats are supposed to be "barn cats" but it is too hot now for them to be outside all day. Although the color is a very light gray, I wanted a true white color on front & back. The other color choices were too dark or beige for the surrounding white wood windows. Other vendors had the true white on the front but dark color on the back. It is serving the purpose well, so I will live with the gray color. If vendor gets it in the true white color I would buy them!

These curtains let in a small amount of diffussed light. Enough so I don't run into things during the day without turning on a light. I live in Arizona where the sun heats up the room and these work well to keep things cooler. I washed them and dried them on cool and the turned out great. There were a few wrinkles but they disappeared after hanging.

Got the grayish white for the daughters room that has a 64x64in window that faces East. Pictures were taken in morning, ~7am est. The fabric is soft on and the loops seem to be well constructed. The length is not 84in, ours measured in at 82.5in, not a big deal for us but something I noticed. We didn't measure the width. When closed the curtains do not block out all the light and light does penetrate the fabric. It would be better if light didn't penetrate at all. To be fair we bought these to help darken the room in the evening and for midday nap. so for our needs we think they will work. But they get 3stars because they don't "black out", but they do darken the room.
