So, I'm in Alaska going on two years, mainly I liked the reviews I saw for these and I will fall in line with high praise! (caveat at the end of the review) These boots are nondescript just fashionable enough for my son and I, we always prefer black footwear, BUT on the inside there is some kind of fur and they the most comfortable boots or shoes I think I've ever owned, (we got size 11 and 13, which was a perfect fit and what we usually wear!) Price, comfort, warmth all perfect, being still somewhat new to Alaska, you hit the wrong part of a parking lot and ANYONE can go down and fast, these boots are not some kind of miracle in the slip and fall department, they don't grip on straight up ice any better than anything else really, maybe slightly better, but I am comparing it to the first good freeze of the winter prior to any gravel being put out, and we had some very icy parking lots here and these didn't do much better than my regular old kicks in all honesty... but for general outdoor, cold, snow boots that are affordable and comfortable, these get my highest recommendation! ***Edit: Laces did wear out fairly quickly on my boots, my son's have held up better, I replaced the laces with some sturdy laces from Target, and the boots continue to exceed expectations! I’ve been wearing these boots around town in cold weather, and they’re surprisingly comfortable. The fit is true to size, snug enough to stay secure but not tight. The material feels durable and waterproof, and the fur lining keeps my feet warm without feeling bulky. Grip is solid on icy or slippery surfaces, which makes walking around in winter much less stressful. There’s decent arch support for all-day wear, and slipping them on and off is easy thanks to the design. These Wondamo men’s snow boots are excellent for cold and wintery conditions. They’re lightweight but still feel sturdy, and the waterproof material keeps my feet completely dry in snow and slush. The fur lining is warm and comfortable without feeling bulky, making them great for long periods outdoors. I just got these boots yesterday, they are warm and comfortable to wear. They are not 100% waterproof, the tongue of the shoes is not sealed as there is no inner sock. They are fine if you don’t walk in snow above top sole of the shoe. When the snow melts water can seep inside. Overall for the price it’s worth it. ... show more

I love these winter boots! I was on the fence about purchasing them as I've only ordered shoes online a couple of times, but I'm very pleased. Very warm. We've had lots of snow this year and I've used them a lot. Depending upon how deep the snow is, I use these when I am snowblowing our very large driveway instead of my muck boots. I've worn them to he store and they are very comfortable with our without my Dr. Scholl's insert. I totally recommend them. My husband is interested in a pair in a different color. Seems to be high quality and durable. Look great. Thick lining and there was no discernable new shoe/chemical smell to them. No staining from water/salt thus far. Okay, okay, I know traditional wisdom is that you get what you pay for when you buy shoes, and you're supposed to invest in serious shoes, but what the heck, I never know what will fit me exactly, so I bought these cheap shoes for my first cold winter in Kazakhstan (where the winters are SERIOUSLY cold). If they turned out to be junk, it's no great loss. Wow, what a surprise. These are the opposite of junk. These awesome cheap shoes became my everyday shoes all winter long. Warm, waterproof, good grip on the ice (there is ice on every sidewalk and parking lot from October to April), comfortable. They're decent-looking too - strangers have asked me on the street where I bought my shoes (didn't help them on the streets of Kazakhstan when I told them I bought them from Amazon in the USA). Winters saw temps as low as -30C (-22F), and I never had a problem with these shoes. Sometimes I wore heavy socks, but I usually didn't, and my feet stayed warm. I walked through puddles without getting my feet wet, but didn't really wade through anything deeper than a couple inches. I'm still amazed at the quality of these boots for the price I paid. I didn't return them, and I wore them on a hike because i didn't have time to buy better ones, but these are not real hiking boots. they look good and they are comfortable, but if you need real hiking boots for a real hike, and you need foot support, get some real boots. these have no sole support. i can squeeze the soles from the side and they fold like a taco. i have no foot problems so it was fine, but it was like hiking in good house shoes. for the price, i can't complain too much. i should have known what i was buying. ... show more
