I really wanted to like this cardigan, but unfortunately it missed the mark. The style is cute and the fit is decent, but the material looks like it’s inside out, which gives it a cheap and unfinished appearance. Instead of looking like a polished knit, it has more of a rough, reversed texture that doesn’t come across as intentional. The lightweight feel is nice for warmer weather, but the overall quality just doesn’t match the pictures. This is a really cute cardigan sweater. Definitely cropped. The material is a lightweight knit made from polyester and wool. Soft with a very slight rough feel from the wool. I have sensitive skin, and thankfully, this doesn’t give me any issues at all. The seams are exposed, making it look like the sweater is inside out. It’s not a flaw, but instead a fashion feature. Some people don’t like that look, so that’s why I’m mentioning it. I, personally, am not bothered by that. The buttons are wide apart, which could cause gaping. The bottom, below the last button, is intentionally made to stay spread out/open. If you don’t want to show any skin in that area, I suggest wearing a cami or something similar beneath. That would also take care of any gaping issues between the buttons. Overall, this is a cute little short sleeve cardigan. The color I purchased (yellow) is a bright sunny yellow.
