These little comfort gems have a standard European toe design that follows the shape of the foot.. They remind me of the wooden clogs I loved to wear with a toe bed much like this one decades ago. Using the large Velcro tabs, the foot remains snug, however the little piggies can bend and exercise while wearing them. They are super flexible and comfortable. When you fit the Velcro tabs in place they STAY until you change them. The footbed is not super thick but supports my feet in all the correct places and helps my posture. Ok they may not be the most attractive or supportive shoes but they serve a purpose and are cheap. I just had total knee replacement and didn’t realize how swollen my ankle and foot would be. Nothing fit but some old oversized slippers and fuzzy socks. Sometimes you need a shoe to do therapy or even go to doctor appointment. These fit the bill. I normally wear a size 8, but purchased 8.5 wide and they are perfect. I was even able to remove the insoles and replace with my OTC inserts. I tried them with no show socks and that worked. I absolutely love these shoes and hope they keep making them forever because they are not only affordable but super cute and extremely comfortable. I shop and deliver for a living and every pair of shoes I've ever worn had my feet just killing me halfway into the day. My feet also swell a bit throughout the day because I drive a lot as well. These are the only shoes that don't hurt my feet and allow them to completely breathe. Even when it's raining and they get soaked, they dry very quickly with the floor heater on in the car. I made the mistake of washing them on an extremely hot water setting (which I knew better-thx brain fog!!!) and the glue melted, causing the sole to separate from the material. Prior to that I washed them on lukewarm water several times and they came out just fine every single time. (air dry only too) The only thing I have noticed is that over time, the Velcro doesn't stick as well. I don't know if that's a Me problem or what but for around $20, I don't mind replacing these over and over again for the rest of my life, lol. ... show more

I would classify these shoes as minimalist shoes, not barefoot shoes as advertised. The sole is much too thick to really feel the ground. They say zero drop, but there is a very slight elevation of the heel. That said, they are truly extra wide width which is hard to find now and they are comfortable. I really haven't spent much time wearing them yet. The short time I had them on, my feet did get very warm, so I am questioning the breathability of the fabric. Really comfortable shoes! The soles are pretty thick even though they look like "barefoot" shoes. They do run big. I ordered my normal size and had to return them. I bought a half size smaller, but I think I could have done a full size smaller. They are roomy because of the wide width. I recommend!

This shoe is like a cloud for swollen feet. I got a lot of compliments on these shoes. They are easy to slip on or just put on by using the Velcro mini strap either way it’s versatile.
