Was looking for a pair of cute and cheap goth boots for a goth silent disco. These are perfect for what I needed them for. At the $30 price point, I'd recommend these for any sort of one night event (like a rave, dance, or concert). Cons: - These are definitely not for long-term or daily wear!! (The quality is basically that of a costume item. If you want something like these for daily wear, save up and invest in the real thing) - The buckles are very cheap (they rattle quite a bit so not sure how long they'll stay on) - The ankle provides absolutely no support (def don't recommend wearing these anywhere with rougher terrain or where you need to walk long distances - major trip hazard) - The soles are straight up foam and the material of the boots themselves is very thin and plastic-y - The lip isn't sewn in so it slides around (honestly not that big of a deal, something that can be fixed with a needle + thread) Pros: - They do look awesome (very similar to the brand name boots they're trying to mimic at a fraction of the price). I've gotten tons of compliments on them. - They fit well over larger calves without any adjustments (wide calf friendly) - The price point is fair at $30 or under (wouldn't spend any more than that on these) - Because they're made of cheap materials they're actually incredibly lightweight, which makes them easy to walk & dance in for how tall they are. Again, great for wearing out to a goth dance club or as an accessory to a costume you'll be wearing for a few hours or so! - I do appreciate that these were available via Prime because I needed to try on a few pairs to find the right fit because of the weird sizing... Sizing: I'm usually a size 9 in everything and the size 9 in these were HUGE - it felt like I was wearing a 10+. There was so much room in the foot! I sized down to an 8.5 and even an 8, just to be safe - given how large the 9 was. The size 8 was actually way too small, but the 8.5 fit perfectly as a standard size 9. There seems to be some weird sizing discrepancies between each size, just as a heads up. Also, my calves are larger than standard boot size at 17", for reference. These would probably be able to accommodate another few inches, comfortably - I'd say up to 21". With my calves there's a few holes left to adjust on the buckles which makes for some extra wiggle room. The thinner material of the boot also makes them quite a bit stretchy. I think these can be adjusted in diameter to that of a typical wide calf boot, just FYI

So, first off, I ordered a 9 (US Customer) and I feel as though I should have gone down by .5 sizing. Other than that I have worn them more than once and they have not torn or ripped on me. They did smell strongly of paint and leather but it wore off after the first wear. The buckles are double sided and WARNING FOR LARGE CALFED PEOPLE, they will pinch in a heartbeat. I have my buckles on the very biggest and they still pinch but the zipper has stayed strong through all my tugging and not a single buckle has popped (yet, fingers crossed). I give this a 5-star even though it has a few flaws, because the comfort is unbelievable. These are my first ever platforms and I am so impressed. Very easy to walk in and have gotten so many compliments. I felt as though I was walking on air. The door knobs were so low to reach when I wore these! I, for once, didn't feel short! I would 100% recommend these to one of my friends. The price is a little pushy but all the rest is so worth it. Now, stop reading my comment and go buy these! You won't be disappointed!

It was true to size I got a 6 1/2 but the zipper digs into your Achilles slightly when you walk which hurts if you’re wearing them for long I suggest thick socks or covering your Achilles with something besides that they’re pretty cute everyone thought they were Demonia‘s, It’s clearly very cheap material they also smelled really bad when they came out of the packaging like fish disgusting, but besides all that I think they’re still pretty cute I suggest wearing them with high socks also if you have big calves like me you’re gonna have to squeeze them in there lol

So I'm starting to redo my wardrobe to finally embrace the alt punk weirdo in me lmao. Although brands such as Demonia and Doc Martens are out of my budget. But for the look and price point, these are an incredible alt. And you can't beat the speed of prime shipping. Getting these shoes on was really easy, sizing fits as expected and zippers worked perfectly. Subtracted a star due to the strong smell of chemicals and the sturdiness concerns. I only tried them on, so I can't speak to their durability yet. I will update this after I wear these shoes to my goth convention to attest to how they can hold up. I also wished it came in a box and not a bag to prevent creasing. These boots do not stand up on their own so as you can see here I used the sheets of foam in the packaging to stuff the shoe so it retains its shape. Overall I am very satisfied -- $22 is a steal! I would recommend these to anyone who wants an affordable option and/or are just starting to build their goth/emo/punk closet! UPDATE: After wearing these boots to the convention, and then walking back to my car, I don't recommend wearing them for a long period of time. Your feet will HURT. Standing around is okay but walking long distances will brutalize your feet. These are definitely better for shorter, less strenuous wear. But I will say they remained durable.

So these are sick. They are comfy, they are adjustable,they look so cool... But the metal on them is super low quality and 2 of the buckles broke the first time I wore them, one broke with in the first hour of me walking on carpet at a hotel. The metal buckle part was bent,like the part that goes through the "leather" strap, was bent almost in a u shape. So the metal parts suck. Oh well tho,they are inexpensive so what do you expect. I will try to fix them so I can wear again.
