With these boots I took my own measurements before ordering and decided to toss caution to the wind and order these anyway. I fully expected these to not fit, I was prepared for disappointment. But my gamble paid off! The materials that make up these boots are very forgiving, having enough flex to fit my non-feminine leg shape. Even then, I know for a fact that I pushed a few parts to their limits and the material took it in stride (pun totally intended). Once on, I do wish these boots were smoother, but I was honestly just happy to be able to get them on and not feel like 10lbs of potatoes shoved into a 6lb bag. The heel and sole are solid and stable, I didn't have any balance or stability issues wearing these. However, a layer between your skin and the boots is necessary. On my first wear, I only wore them for a few minutes but when I took them off, my legs were covered in sweat. Definitely need to be cooler to wear these, they don't breath well and despite the boots having a nice inner lining, having stockings or pantyhose will make wearing them much more comfortable. I went into these expecting disappointment. I came out with a pair of thigh high boots that actually fit and make a great addition to a couple of my outfits. Follow the sizing chart and you'll be fine. If you're at or near the upper limits of each size, you ::should:: be safe and order that size since the material is very forgiving.

I saw another review that honestly summed up exactly how I feel about the boots. They look amazing, and they're so shiny and stunning. The fit on the foot is perfect. The heel size and shape is great for wearing over longer periods of time. The parts that make it less than perfect is the zipper and the size of the leggings. the zipper only opens up to the ankle, so you have to pull the boots on over your knees and the material is so difficult to maneuver for how tight of a squeeze the legging portion of the shoes fits. I am not skinny, but I don't even think my legs would classify as 'thicc' even, and it was a struggle to get these over my knees. The fit is super tight and ends up looking like it's squeezing my legmeat like a sausage! I DO plan to wear these, for sure, but I won't be able to wear them all the way up , they'll just be bunched on my leg which is fine enough I suppose. But, it's just not quite the way they were advertised. I'm honestly a bit disappointed in how these fit, but I have smaller feet I suppose.. another note: I had to have my partner help me with getting them off once I was able to squeeze into them. So, be mindful about that, too!

Is it bad that I want to wear these everyday, even in the carpool line? These are the effects that the boots have on me. They fit true to size, and man they are thigh high. The boots on the thighs take it over the top for me and my man. I do not know which one of us like me in them the most. We also like how the boots have the shiny effect rather than the leather. A big win, I want them in every color.

I recently purchased these thigh high boots, and overall, I have mixed feelings. Starting with the positive, the foot fit is perfect. The boots are comfortable, and the chunky heel adds stability without sacrificing style. I can easily wear them for extended periods without too much discomfort. However, the shaft fit is much tighter than I expected. I don’t feel like my calves and thighs are bigger than average, but these boots definitely make it seem that way. It’s a bit of a struggle to get them up and comfortably over my thighs. Once they're on, they look great, but I can't help but feel that the fit could be a bit more forgiving in the calf and thigh area. If you're someone with slimmer legs, these boots might be perfect for you, but for me, the tightness detracts from what could have been a perfect pair. I do plan on still wearing them but I do feel a little self conscious as it gives my thighs a "muffin top".
