I love these shorts so much. They do not feel like cheap quality at all. So comfortable and soft. I would have got my normal small, but another reviewer who was the same height, weight and build as me sized up to a medium and was very happy she did. I did the same on her recommendation and I am very happy I did as well. The fit is perfect. I’m 5’9 150 pounds with an athletic build. Typically a size 4 in pants. Another thing I really appreciate about these is the hem arches just a little and slightly dips down in the back, which gives just slightly more coverage back there, and I feel the hem shape gives a much more flattering look all around. Absolutely love these shorts. They are super comfortable for just wearing around the house or you can dress them up by wearing a graphic tee or tank top to go out in. They are the perfect length and fit true to size. They also are high waisted which is nice. They are a thicker and more durable material not too thin but also not too thick. The pockets are also a nice touch compared with the color of royal blue and these have become one of my favorite pairs of shorts to wear.
