    • Made for taller people
Silky material that's made to be hand washed, line dried. It has a nicely hidden zipper back in the same color as the navy dress I bought. The spaghetti straps held the dress up pretty well & I didn't experience them slipping off entirely but I did pull them up occasionally, maybe just out of habit. The color I chose was navy & it was true to the color shown on my screen. The print was exactly as shown as well. No oddly placed floral print. The length is meant for a taller person. If one wants the dress to fit as shown, I'd recommend the wearer be at least 5'6". At 5'2", I took the dress in to be tailored in order to fit me as shown on the model because the hem fell just above my ankles & that wasn't the look I was going for. With the well placed side slit that isn't too high or low, it was a pretty awkward look. Once tailored, it looked nice. The fit is fitted & there is very little stretch. The waist is somewhat tailored but doesn't really "snatch" ones waist as I'd hoped. I am short, petite, & slender with a smaller waist that my hips measure. I was hoping the dress would show off a more curvy figure but due to the straight cut, it didn't really do that very well. The dress is not at all see through & I wore nippies in caramel color to cover things. Those are so nice to have & cover well, but don't lift at all. Just food for thought. You can read my review about those too! Overall, the dress is appropriate for a variety of occasions one might want to dress up for without looking over the top. I've worn this to a wedding as well as a work event with a cardigan. The cowl neckline is draped but doesn't gape. The dress is flattering if it fits well & it breathes nicely. I wore the dress to an outdoor, late summer wedding & though I did sweat due to triple digit temps, the sweat didn't show at all & I was surprisingly cool. ... show more

I'd give this a 3.5. It is very thin and there is no stretch to the fabric at all so keep that in mind. The slit is higher but I actually sowed it one inch in order for it not to drive up so you could see my underwear when sitting down. This being stated, it is a beautiful dress in terms of design and color. It does run true to size according to the size chart. I ended up keeping this to wear once for a couple of hours for a spring bridal shower. Was it worth 43 dollars? Absolutely not, but I couldn't find anything else. I'd say if you see this for a lightening deal for 20-25 dollars, that's about all that it is worth. Unfortunately I did not get this on a deal. lol. ... show more

Dress is 1 thin layer of satin and customer service is non existent! I ordered a medium and returned it to order a large and they refunded me for the large. A almost $17 difference. I've emailed them numerous times and never heard anything back.

I wore this dress to my daughters wedding, I had the pleasure of walking her down the isle. It fit her color scheme perfectly. I’m 5’2 with an average size body and a lil bit of a booty. The length was perfect on me, and the slit in the front/side was very cute/sexy which also helped make it manageable to move and sit in. The wedding was in early July ‘23 and it was hot 102’ though everyone was sweating, I was surprisingly comfortable in my dress. The bust needed a lil extra help with some body tape, but that was more for my self of security for I knew I would be bending down . And the straps were easy to adjust.     • Pretty print but doesn't fit pear shaped bodies
Overall really pretty print and material wasn't itchy like some cheaper dresses. Material is not stretchy at all so if you need wiggle room like me it won't work very well. My body shape is very pear like. Big hips and butt and smaller upper body. I ordered medium. Normally medium, sometimes large, dressess work for my hips but depending on the style, it's loose in the top so I need to make adjustment. This dress has zero stretch. I could get the dress on but it was tight in the hip and legs. The top was enormous thought. It's supposed to be a flowy top but it was so big I could tuck one of my arms inside the bodice and was still loose. I have another dress very similar to it from another store and it fits no problem but this one just wasn't doing it. It would probably look better on boxy or triangular body types. ... show more
