For reference, I am 5'6" and about 270lbs and bought size 3x. This skirt fits very well. Love it so much! (Ordered a second one today) It is longer, but not too long, comes about 4 inches from ankle. I went up a size because I was nervous shopping online. I wish I would have ordered my true size. The skirt has stretch in the waist so the skirt moves with you. I will definitely buy more from this vendor. Very well made definitely worth the money.

    • A good basic skirt for the money
Size: Large Color: Black
I was very reluctant to purchase this and was especially concerned about how it would fit. I am just under 5’8” and weigh between 140-145 pounds. I normally wear a size 8/Medium in pants; occasionally a size 10 in brands that run small. Knowing I would have to pay to ship it back if it didn’t fit I decided to take a risk and based on other warnings about the skirt running small, I ordered a large. It fits me just right with perhaps a little bit of “give” in case it shrinks in the wash. The material is very stretchy which is reassuring because if it does shrink a bit in the waist, it will still fit. The zipper is not terribly good quality but overall the garment is very nice (I took one star off for that). It is sturdy denim, but not excessively heavy. On me I would call it a “midi” skirt, not a “maxi” because it does not come to the floor. It falls a few inches above my ankles which I like. When I wash it I will be careful to wash it alone, or only with other items that are black, as I am pretty sure the black dye will run in the wash. In warm weather I will be wearing it with sandals and in the winter with tights and boots. I think it will look good with my light wash denim jacket. ... show more

Been many years since I wore a jean skirt. This is thinner denim fabric than I expected. It has a lot of stretch. Maybe that’s why it’s thin. It also has a waist/hip shape that seems to go straight up and down, meaning the waist will need to be taken in a bit for my shape so the skirt doesn’t ride up, because I think it will. Different body shapes— The dye is nice and deep, and thankfully, the subtle scrub marks aren’t white, defacing, or unrealistically misplaced as on some pants and skirts out there. (Many women don’t realize that the overdone bleach scrub marks on the calves, thighs, and rear of their jeans makes their pants look so striped, that those gals look like they work for the circus.). :D This skirt otherwise, has a nice length and shape below the knee. The fabric density will make it versatile enough to wear year-round. Since I have it, I’ll wear it, but after seeing and feeling it, I think it’s not really worth the asking price and shipping, which was $7.95 for just this little skirt. Bottom line: If I wasn’t sure I’d wear it, I’d return it. But, it has enough good things going for it to make me decide to keep it and enjoy wearing it. ... show more

I am a 1X...... but I bought 3X because ussually sizes coming from China are way smaller. I do not think the skirt was made in China.... 3X is I think 3X. The material is thick, nice color, it has stretch. It is a great maxi denim skirt .... but it is way to large for me. I can't return it.... I think I have to get a RMA from the seller. I just emailed the seller.... and now waiting how I can return it to get a smaller size ... show more

I have been experimenting with skirts for a couple of years now. Honestly I didn’t think I would gain an interest in skirts as much as I have with high heels - totally different story - but I liked the versatility, practicality, and variety of skirts out there (and a lot of you ladies out there make them look fun to wear!). Plus it’s less restrictive on me as a whole so I can move much better than before. But back to these… I’ve tried on plenty of skirts before & while each of them has their uses on occasion, most times they weren’t what I was looking for. I have a similar black pair like these that were Almost ‘the one I could live in’…until these came in. This skirt hits ALL of the right spots: comfort, breathable, stretchy, lengthy With Out hitting the ground, SNUG - no belt needed, POCKETS…It has it all and more. I love them so much, I wish they had gotten here sooner, but I cannot sooner wait to order my next pair~ Ladies - and us few men - these are worth Every Penny.
