Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is my second one of these. My first I bought 3.5 years ago and it is still good except so e stains inside i can't get out. I travel alot. Otherwise my first bag would've lasted a decade 7 continents later I broke down for a new one. It is deceiving how much it will hold. This little bag has fooled many airlines haha. I washed my first one and air dried it. I love the zipper pockets on the front outside. I always have my tablet in one of these. I like everything about it. The luggage sleeve is perfect when your bag is a tad heavy. It is my business bag and my under the seat airline bag too. Can't say enough good about this bag. I am excited to take my new purchase to Scandanavia in a couple weeks. I recommend this product and I travel almost every week either for work or pleasure. It is a million mile bag for me.

I do a good bit of 2-day trips for work, and I got so tired of lugging around a rolling bag. Plus, I wanted some luggage that made me happy to look at it! I'm so pleased with this purchase. Here's why: STRAP: I love that this has a long strap, so that I can drape this over my shoulder to carry it. It's much more comfortable that carrying it on one shoulder, and it keeps my hands free. WASHABLE: One of the most important things for me, in deciding to buy a cloth bag, was that I be able to put it in the laundry. I try to treat my luggage well, but I'm sure there's going to come a time that this bag goes on a gross airport floor, or I accidentally spill some shampoo, or something. This bag can be washed. There's a big rectangular piece of plastic at the bottom, and I'll have to figure out how to get it out without bending it too much. So, it won't be the easiest thing in the world, but I will be able to put this through the washing machine. That makes me happy. PRETTY: I just love this bag. I use it on work trips, and even though I work in a conservative field, I decided "screw it," I want to get a pattern that makes me happy. I have this bag in the blue/white pattern, and it is just so pretty. DURABLE AND USEFUL: The bag is made of thick material. There are 5 inside pockets, which is where I keep all of my toiletries neatly organized. (I have a set of "travel" toiletries that stay in there all the time, so that I don't have to spend much time packing.) Also, there is the sleeve on the back, so that this bag can hook onto the handle of a rolling suitcase. This bag is a good size. I can put two pairs of shoes, a few changes of clothes, and my toiletries in it. It has enough room for a multi-day trip. It would probably be tight if you wanted to pack it for a whole week, but I think that would be manageable if you're strategic. So all in all, I'm really happy with this! Recommended!

The size bag is perfect for overnight or even weekend trip, it’s not too big and heavy to lug around when packed full, and the multiple compartments make it so fun to pack and keep organized. I was looking for another Vera Bradley weekend bag since my other one got cardboard all over it when I washed it. This works great and there is a plastic piece inside so I can wash it without worrying about getting more cardboard everywhere. There is a lot of room and the design is great! It can get heavy so keep that in mind when you’re putting a lot of stuff it in. The color is a perfect pink! The pockets inside are mesh and my old one wasn’t but I’m honestly not sure which one I prefer. It doesn’t affect the durability though. Would recommend.

Item: Vera Bradley Cotton Weekender Travel Bag, Magnifique Floral This is a nice Vera Bradley bag. It is large and I love how the bag zippers open so that it is wider than a duffle bag. It allows for easier access to contents and you can dig something out from the bottom without destroying everything in the bag above it. It's not as roomy as my daughter's weekender bag (she has a 26 inch one which I am desperate to find, I may have to look for a used one as it seems they don't routinely make them that large anymore) but this is a good substitute. The cotton material will eventually get dirty but it's still a cute bag.

Not sure how I traveled without it! I’ve used it twice on plane rides and it is large enough to fit a pair of shoes, an outfit or two, jacket as well as your quart size lotion bag and all the last minute items you use before you leave. The pockets on the inside were helpful and the pockets on the outside were useful with my passport and boarding passes. Additionally, I love the sleeve to hold it right on top of my wheeling carry-on. The fabric did not pill as mentioned in one of the other reviews. Leslie the inside fabric is nice and it fit perfectly underneath the seat in front of me.
