Without exaggeration, I honestly couldn't tell what was the front and what was the back of the pants. They didn't feel right either way. The top is fine and can be worn over the pants buttoned up or open over a tank or cami like a jacket. I'd prefer the latter but not until I'm a little more comfortable with how the pants looks on me. I figure they will either give a little or I will lose some weight. The fabric isn't anything special. It's not high quality but doesn't look like cheap polyester either. It's a nice basic pants suit that, with the proper embellishments should be suitable for just about any event. But the black badly needs a pop of color. I will probably wear a bright pink top underneath with top worn as jacket. Because the pants are elastic waisted, I assumed they would fit like PJ bottoms with a clear place for your behind. But it's really ambiguous as to the proper way to wear them and either way, they don't feel right. I will wear this outfit. But it won't be one of my favorites. I haven't laundered it yet so don't know how this will wash. The sleeves are about the right length but I prefer the look of rolling them up a little. Even buttoned, the top doesn't pull across my chest. And despite my issue with the pants, the top hides everything so nobody else will know that you may be experiencing a wedgie as you walk.

I am considered tall and the pants are too long. But I will keep them and tuck them at the waist because I’m not hemming them.

This set seemed a little large when I put it on. I usually wear a large so that's what I ordered. The pants are just a little too long, as are the sleeves. The top is looser than what I'd expect, but the pants fit okay. I am a curvier girl and often pants are really tight in the hips but these fit fine. If I thought they would fit in the hips I would get a medium. So you might want to consider ordering a size down. I think because of the relaxed fit these could border on looking like pajamas. I added a necklace in the picture in the hopes it looked more like a nice suit set. The material is very lightweight and really says "girls night out" not "girls out shopping". Although it is comfortable, I would not consider this a casual outfit- the material is too much like evening wear. The tag says dry clean only, which is another ding in my book. And the pants were conducting static electricity like a generator- they were stuck to my legs after wearing for only five minutes! I will probably wear this on a few occasions, but it's not going to be a favorite outfit by any means.
