    • These are cheap toys with plastic trucks. Do not waste your money or risk injury.
These helped me get into rollerskating and learn that i loved it, but they lasted ONE MONTH, and when i invested in a GOOD pair of roller skates and learned a bit more about skating i realized that these are not skates. they are cheap plastic TOYS. The “trucks” are plastic and not adjustable; the kingpin nut is just there for appearances. You cannot loosen the action for more maneuverability. they’re simply IS NO maneuverability possible. The plastic trucks and plate are not meant to support an adult’s weight. people over ~175 lbs INJURE themselves from the cheap plastic “hardware” snapping. Also, the wheels typically come WAY too tight, and while the loosening of the axle nut DOES give the wheels more spin, even the slightest loosening can make the axle nut completely unscrew and some people’s wheels will literally FALL OFF while skating at the rink. I am earnestly begging you to invest money in good skates that will give you what you want. a nylon PLATE is okay on beginner skates, but METAL TRUCKS are an absolute MUST for a legit pair of skates. Do not risk hurting yourself. DO NOT waste your hard-earned money. ... show more
