Don't overdo the ironing or it will stretch to bigger than original, haha. I absolutely love this cotton/linen set. For reference, I’m 5’8”, typically a S/M in tops and M/L in bottoms (34D, 29” waist, 40” hips), and the Medium fits me perfectly. I had tried a different set before but either the pants were too tight or the top was too big—but this one is very flattering and much more forgiving. It’s super comfortable and lightweight—perfect for hot days when you still want to look put together. The fabric feels breathable and easy to wear all day. My only minor note is that the white is super bright, more than I personally prefer, but that’s just a personal preference and doesn’t take away from how much I like the set overall. ... show more

Beautiful and comfortable. The waistband stretches, and you can just the vest in the back. I’ve gotten lots of compliments. The only problem is that it shrinks a lot in the dryer. I’m 55 about 135 pounds. 34DDD. I ordered a medium tall. When it first came, it looked to be a couple inches longer than what I might want it to be, but after drying it, the pants actually sit perfectly on top of my feet. So just be aware of that. OK, I’m going to leave the most honest review I can. This set, when taken out of the bag, fits like a dream! I am 5 foot two and 110 and the extra small regular length was perfect, and the length was just enough to wear a small heel with. I also ordered the short and it was way too short for my short frame. There is a slight smell to the fabric that gets a little better as you wash but still there. OK, so all about the washing. I washed the pants in cold water and I air dried them. They shrank several inches! I ironed them which really did not help on the length that much. I can still wear them with flats. So long story, short, if you order the set, either dry clean it or if you do wash it or plan on washing it, then order the long length no matter what your height is! The white is definitely see-through, but the tan color is not. The vest is cute but you’ll need to wear a shirt or tank or something or else your bra will show. ... show more

I ordered a large short. The waist measurement for the large short pants in 31” unstretched. The inseam was 27.5”. The vest measures 40” across the chest and is about 23” from the shoulder seam to the longest point on the front. The pants fit me perfectly. I had read that the length will shrink and need to be steamed to release to original size. If that’s the case and I didn’t want to steam or iron, I’d need to size up to the regular length. The vest was far too large. It would need a lot of tailoring not to droop in the arm holes and front of chest. I wear about a 36C or a 38B in bra size. I’m not sure if the vest is sized the same as the regular and tall sizes, but it seems to me like the vest follows the size chart while the pants follow the size chart for one size smaller. Meaning the pants measure a medium according to the chart. This could be a great thing for larger chested gals! The material, while not the MOST high end, was still drapey and was not scratchy. The black stripe was not see through either. If I could order these pieces separately to get the sizing I need, I’d absolutely do so as I felt it was a great value for the price. ... show more
