Such a shame, this really is a very pretty cardigan, in a beautiful blush pink. Light weight, soft and comfortable to wear over a dress or top, but does not make you hot. Only got to wear it once, because even though I washed it exactly as recommended it shrunk so much, (In the washer) it would literally now only fit a child of the 6 to 7 age range. When I took it out of the washer, I couldn't believe my eyes, that's how much it shrunk. I very meticulously stretched it to be bigger, but it never went back to the size it originally was, and I was afraid that if I kept stretching it that it would have torn. Unfortunately, the return window had passed so I couldn't return it.

Sweater held up well in the delicate cycle of the wash machine. I used the extra low heat for a few minutes in the dryer and then pulled it out to lay flat and finish drying. The sweater stretches after wearing it for a few minutes - sleeves become quite loose. If you want a tighter fit after wearing it for a few minutes, I would size down 1 dress size. It's very light which makes it nice over for a cooler summer day.

It gives that tiny bit of extra warmth that you might want on a summer evening without feeling heavy or cumbersome.
