I ordered the military green. I read a few reviews that talked about a strong smell, luckily when mine arrived - I did not experience that. It had no smell at all. I haven't even had the chance to use it but I'm already in love with it. I was a little worried about ordering this one because I thought it might be too large for me (I don't love carrying purses/bags as a whole and I definitely hate switching them over when you need to carry a book or a laptop or something else). This is quality canvas that can easily take a beating and withstand. The green is perfect and exactly as pictured. The bag is roomy and will definitely work for toting my laptop and or whatever book I'm reading plus the usuals (I ordered a bag insert to keep it organized and not lose or have to search for the small stuff). It has one inside zipper pocket and two slip pockets (on the same side) of the interior that are on a flap (meaning - not attached to the lining of the bag - think Marc Jacobs The Tote Bag interior). The short handles are good for holding or for the crook of your elbow. The long strap, while many said it does not function as a cross over strap - for me it did. I'm not sure what they're talking about - but for reference, I'm 5'6" & 140 lbs. I put the strap on the longest setting and it sits comfortably at my hip (the top) and the bottom hits about 2-3" above my knee. could even tighten the strap a little if I didn't want it to sit so low. The part I love most is that it's rather slouchy when you don't have it filled with stuff - which I love because it feels less big if you're just running around and don't have a bunch of things in your bag. I would absolutely recommend. I sat on buying it for about a week - but I'm so glad I did.

Cute yet sturdy tote. If you have a lot of books to carry this bag will work great for you. The outer shell is a thick canvas and has a liner inside so it can handle a heavy load. I ordered khaki but I think I’ll go with the white one instead next time as the khaki was darker than I expected for my tastes. This issue I had and why I had to return it was a bad shipment of bags. Myself and several other reviewers around October had the same issue. I hope they work out the kinks so I can order again in the future. I hate leaving a negative review but the product itself was great and the seller may not have been aware of the issue until people reviewed it.

Easy to carry around. I use it as a bad for my 3 year old. Pockets a great and buttons snap easy. Actual bag is great but the lettering on the bag is iron on is already peeling off and I’ve only had maybe a month. I try to wait to give a review so I can give an honest one. Over all appearance was exactly that of what you view before purchase.
