This was my second one of the PRO series. I have 4 total. I wish I had known and I would have just bought several of these - keep reading.... They clean up nice, charge pretty fast and you can use them in wet environments until well... My 1st one.. the plug cap tore off (where ya charge at the end) and I guess lube got in there, hmmm or "something" and it shocked the holy -F outta me right at hitting "the big one". Shook me up as I'm sure ya can imagine. It still works and I can keep my hand away from the area and TRY to stay ...non squirty but, I tense up bad when using it, so got this one. It's about the same but not quiet the same. Suction is easy but the 1st level is like a fly on this one so the "SIX" levels are really just 5 and sorta stiffeling there isn't justt ONE more sometimes. Honestly ladys, I have a specific "vibration frequency" or "tone that works for me to get there. Ya know what I'm saying??? SOMEONE SHOULD CATEGORIZE the DANG frequency of each of these things. Maybe equate them to musical notes or something. I even went to a store one time and the expert just put my finger on each one and called it "deep", "low" and "high". Maybe some company (HEY WOMANIZER!) could send out a tester kit so we could pick the ones that work, they'd make a killing is what I say cuz...I got an expensive womanizer one thinking i just needed the 12 modes for some variety. Nope, wrong FREQUENCY or musical note or something! The only thing I got from it was 1 "O" after about 24 tries in a month, and I'm not a newbie at trying. It sure as hell would help with buying these things. This one is close to my first but...slightly different frequency/tone. If I had known they were all different, maybe I would have bought 4 of these? Honestly, someone should DO something!

Before my review, some relevant details about me: I was dealt an unfortunate hand in my early years: A man who suffers from sociopathy (Antisocial Personality Disorder) sexually abused me across many years of my childhood. I've had a gun held to my head (by the same person). In elementary school, a stranger (male in his 50s or 60s) tried to kidnap me. I come from a family that struggled with drugs & alcohol, so home life was chaotic. And on top of all of this, I have a genetic illness: bipolar disorder, which I was only recently diagnosed with but which I have evidently had since adolescence. Fortunately, I had two partners when I was 16 and 18 who were very patient, kind, and gentle with me, and who helped me learn that sexuality is not inherently an awful thing. Unfortunately, I continue to struggle with PTSD, and I have a deep-rooted need to remain in control of my body & circumstances. When I use a vibrator or dildo alone, memories often intrude from my childhood and make me deeply upset. I also have an issue wherein anytime I have intercourse (with my husband or using a vibrator), I get a UTI, no matter how many preventative measures I take, so I have to take a medication each time. These are the primary reasons why I looked for a clitoral stimulator as a new toy and bought the poorly named Womanizer Pro40. This toy has a potentially steep learning curve. It took me an hour and a half of trying it alone, and half an hour with my husband's help, before I figured out the right placement, angle, and setting. And then... OMG. It was an intense experience: one of deep joy & release, and also of extreme fear. There was uncontrollable screaming. There was a rush of fluid that I thought was pee, so I basically flung aside the toy, and bolted from the bed. (It wasn't; it was "squirting," which I always thought was a myth.) In short, I orgasmed the most intensely I've ever experienced. It scared me, and it scared my husband. He couldn't tell if I was happy or upset -- which is probably because I was both. It was the utter loss of control. I've used it multiple times since. I've discovered that if I use it while sitting upright in the shower, the orgasm is not as intense. Each orgasm is also a different physical experience, which is odd -- as other reviewers have mentioned. Recently, alone, I used it laying down again, and had the same screaming, out-of-control response as the original time. But it wasn't awful. It felt really good. So, the takeaway: It's an effective product once you figure out how to make it work. I'm really grateful that the company made it. If you have a history of being abused, you might find it frightening the first time, but after that, I think you may actually find it healing & helpful psychologically, as I do. You're likely going to lose control of your body, but you're also in control because you're alone and you're choosing to use the toy, and you know what to expect. If you're really relaxed during this massive orgasm, you may not only squirt but also pee, as another reviewer mentioned. Playing in the shower is best. If you're anything like me, you won't be able to control the screaming or moaning. I have to hold a washcloth over my mouth. Even with that, you're going to be loud, so make sure no one's home/around. It feels a little awkward divulging so much about myself in this post, but I share it in hopes that it will help others with pasts like mine, because I know I am not alone. As a final side note, check to see whom you're buying it from. I had to look down on the right to select directly from Amazon; it was a slightly higher price, but I felt more safe buying the product directly from them.

This is by far the best toy I've tried by far. I've tried maybe 5-6 types. This solves several issues we had and very quickly. My husband and I bought my first Womanizer from Amazon in mid 2017 for $180. It stopped working in 2019. It was expensive and I decided to buy another one in late 2021 after trying a few others that were not so expensive. None of those have broken or stopped working btw including a much less costly Womanizer Knock Off but it's just not quite the same. My 2nd Womanizer (this one) was still expensive but less than local stores. It justs stopped taking a charge in January 2023. I haven't used it much. I didn't use either of them more than once a month before they broke, and after this one stopped charging I've only used it maybe 4 times total as I tried to figure out how to fix it. The charge finally died and it won't charge even with the new cord that I just bought. What a waste. I love this toy and would highly recommend it but the cost is way too high for me to ignore the fact that it has not lasted more than 2 years over the two that I bought from Amazon. I don't like writing this review bc of privacy but here it is. Maybe I can save someone else from wasting money on this until there is some way to make this right. They are just not durable. I'm pretty sure they are not returnable or refundable on Amazon. I will not buy another one from Amazon or anywhere else if they don't stand by the product for longer than a year. Once can be a fluke. Two is too many. Don't spend the money unless you can afford to keep buying them every year or two when they stop working.
