I spent an eternity looking for a midi denim skirt in my size and the right length. I have a 38in waist and the 18 fits well. True to size but its so stretchy you could probably size down if your looking for more of a pencil skirt. I'm 5'7" and it hits at the bottom of my knee. Its 76% cotton, 23% polyester and 1% spandex per the label. So its very stretchy and easy to move in but the fabric still feels sturdy. There is a slit in the back but it's overlapped so nothing showing. I don't think the product photos do it justice, it seems very good quality. Seams are all well finished. Deep front pockets. And of course its a skirt so there's no thighs to wear out. Definatly recommend. ... show more

Fortunately I did not order the recommended size 36, I normally order 22 to 24. for safety I took 26 so i just walked into the skirt no need to unbutton so the 24 would have been ideal. The pattern is lovely. the length was good for me being 5'1" it went up to my calves. Ideal for me.

I LOVE this skirt. Normally wear a regular size 12 so figured a 12W would fit ok or a little large. It was VERY tight all over. I returned and ordered a 14W and it fit perfect. The fabric is not thin, just the right thickness and the fit is very flattering.

I don’t like ordering clothes online because you don’t know how they will fit. I saw another review that said size up and I did. I upped from a 18 to a 20. Because of the cut and with the zipper it fits tighter. I didn’t want it tight across the bum so glad I went up a size. It looked nice, BUT, was to big in the waist, falling off.
