  • Gritty, Glorious, and Full of Bangs!
If you're after a compelling, story-driven FPS with serious visual polish and cinematic energy—Wolfenstein II on Switch is a standout. It’s bold, dramatic, and leaves an impression that sticks. Highly recommend if you're ready for something deep, powerful, and action-packed.

  • Great game, great story, great port
I played The New Order and really enjoyed it. The gun play was awesome, killing nazis is fun and I for one really enjoyed the story and background provided. Wolfenstein 2 keeps the same great gun play and killing of nazis but what I liked better about it was it increased the story elements from Wolf 1. Now you have longer cut scenes. Some people complained about this, but I found it interesting. As the game went on, I found myself more invested in finding out what happens in the story. There are some overdone parts but overall I think it adds a ton of value to the game. As for a port, it is great. No, it doesn’t look like a 4K game, but what do you expect? It is a mobile platform with limited power. Considering the game runs super smooth, I don’t care that it sometimes gets a little blurry. That’s the sacrifice you make for a portable AAA title. If I wanted to play this game with perfect graphics I’d play it on another system. I like the idea of taking it anywhere I want over graphics. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • This is a good port
First I'd like to say this is a good port for the Nintendo switch of course it's not 60FPS running at 4K if you're thinking that this version does such thing it's not here. So far from what I played I've been enjoying the game the story is great, characters, and of course killing Nazis is always fun. But there are downgrades compared to the other consoles the game is a bit blurry (but not were it really bothers you at all) and running around 30FPS (don't quote me on that) personally I enjoy it in docked mode but it works fine in portable also, pro controller is perfect for this game I just couldn't play the game with the joycons. When you pop in the cartridge you can play the game from the get go but there will be an 8.1GB download you will need this to continue with the other half of the game just giving you a heads up. Wolfenstein 2 on the switch is a fun game to play and it's perfect if you can't sit in front of a computer or console for hours anymore rather it be because of work, kids, or you're just a busy person this version of the game is perfect for you.....now I need to go uppercut some Nazis ... show more

  • Finally Wolfenstein for Nintendo Switch 🥳
Wolfenstein! What can I say about one of my absolute favorite game franchises of all time? It’s set in an alternate post war era in which the Axis powers won and you’re a high-level member of the resistance in 1961 NS-controlled American territories and people. It’s a blast and the quality of the game story and gameplay is nice. ... show more

  • If you're looking for a good shoot em up game this is it!!!!!!!!
I was looking for a good game to play while we are on lock down and came across Wolfenstein 2. I've been playing it for 2 days now and I'm officially hooked. I had to go to YouTube to see how to navigate through some areas but the game play is awesome. The language may not be suitable for some players as they use a few racial slurs every now and again but I play it with the volume down low. Long story short this is a good game to past the time. ... show more

  • Awesome gameplay! A must-play! Get this version now!
This version is greatly improved and what I've been hoping for in this series. I've played Wolfenstein games since the beginning. Awesome gameplay right from the start! As the story unfolds it just gets better. Have not finished the game but it keeps me interested and I can't wait to go through the game again with making different choices to see how the game progresses. If you have followed the Wolfenstein campaigns or are new to the series, it's a must play! ... show more

  • Marvelous Technical Achievement, Average Game
The fact that they managed to squeeze this game onto the Switch is frankly, mind-blowing to me. I remember when I got the original PSP. It blew my mind with its PS1 quality graphics at the time. And now we have this marvel. As a port, I can't fault it. Any flaws that it has can be forgiven just because of how well it runs and how it good it manages to look while doing it. The game, on the other hand. I adored The New Order. It came out of nowhere and blew me away with excellent graphics, a deep, character driven narrative, and some damn satisfying gameplay. The New Collosus is a bloated, over-stuffed sequel, unfortunately. The gameplay suffers from a series of incredibly silly little niggles that ruin the experience overall. You're never aware of how much damage you've taken until you die, there are way too many big robot enemies that are just bullet sponges, and the stealth is completely broken. The environments range from blue gray corridor to other blue grey corridor. They're too dark and boring to be any fun to rampage through. The story, while touching on some great points, feels poorly thought out. I get what they're trying to say, but it doesn't fit in well with the gameplay. We go from a scene where a child BJ and his mum are viciously brutalised by his racist father, to blowing Nazis with a weapon in each hand. It almost feels like a Metal Gear Solid game at times, where cut scenes can go on forever. But the difference is that while MGS has some of the most entertaining writing in existence, here it's all so deadly serious it really gets to you. The overarching themes of racism, bigotry, and how easy it is for a country to slip into fascist rule are great themes. And there are occasional moments of brilliance in the writing, but it never comes together. It gets in the way of the already lacking gameplay, making the whole experience one that grates a lot more than it entertains. This needs to be a whole lot leaner. Things need to be cut, enemies need to be more varied, environments need to be more interesting, and the story needs to get out of the way of gameplay. I doubt I'll even finish this one, to be entirely honest. Doom 2016 this ain't. What a damn shame. ... show more
