Solid frame and stylish, the pair were easy to assemble. Unlike other reviews I didn't have any problems with hole alignment, but the shelves (which are made of a mdf product covered with a thin marble style laminate) got a bit knocked around presumably during shipping. One of the shelves (pictured) actually had a gash from an external knock that penetrated the box it traveled in. Fortunately it was downward facing so I positioned it on the lowest shelf where it is completely hidden. Similarly, some of the shelf corners were a bit dinged but not noticeable. Easy to assemble for only one person. Sturdy. Looks just like the picture. I’m so happy with how it looks in my home. Word of caution- This will definitely tip over so be sure to use the included anchor screws.

I love these shelves! I’ve had them for 6 months and have not had a problem with durability issues. They were easy to put together and I did add some L brackets to the middle shelves to give it some stability. I was worried about the strength of the shelves but I have these packed full of books and plan to add more shelves as my collection grows. Its is inexpensive the boards are MDF, better than particle board, and some of the brackets are uneven, it’s easily fixed once the boards are screwed in place. Some of the shelves are a little uneven once lined up, they are sitting on carpet and there are different amounts of books on each shelf. I love the open look of adjustable shelving, however I needed something that wouldn’t do much damage to the walls as I’m in an apartment. For the price it’s a great alternative to some higher priced shelves if you’re going for affordability and a certain look. ... show more

Liked this shelf when I received the correct color! First received a box labeled brown/black but received white/gold. Beware buying the Amazon warehouse used for this product! Maybe the shelf wasn't made to hold this many books, but it is pretty wiggly. I wish the bottom had the ability to connect with the wall. ... show more

One shelf is perfect. the second shelf as you can see, one bar is uneven and the holes for the screws don’t even align with the shelves 🙄 kinda upset i wasted my time putting this together now that i have a lopsided top shelf!

We got these for my sons bedroom for Christmas. Instead of nightstands, we put them on each side of his new bed. And we absolutely love it! They are not real wood, but they look really cool. We are a big fan of these. We are actually thinking of ordering more so we can have them in different areas of the house as shelving.
