It was pretty easy to put together. And I really like the easy access feature. I would say it just don't lean on it while the top is up, and don't put anything on it than what it weighs, or it'll tip on you, while it's up. Also the hidden pockets are difficult to access when your sitting down and the top is up but that us a quibble.

I really like this coffee table for the most part, the top lifts up pretty easily, but when you're closing it, it doesn't always want to come down on both sides at the same time. Sometimes, one side will hit before the other, so be careful about drinks or anything that might slide off that you don't want broken. Other than that, it's perfectly fine and priced pretty well.

The table overall is 4star. The Big problem is that once assembly is done. The lift top of table does not close evenly. The left side is up higher than the right side when closing. Its the lift top shocks. One is weaker than the other which results in one side closing before the other. Any thing on top while closing could slide off. Gonna try to work some my magic so can close correctly. I watch the assembly video of the product on amazon which it show the lift top also one side closing before the other. Watch the video. Beware of this defected part before buying.
