I am an Amazon Vine reviewer, and I chose this product, which I received for free (though I do pay taxes on it) for an HONEST review. I am reviewing the heating seat cushion for hunting sold by the WISMOIER store. I chose this item to use whenever Hubby and I go camping or for any outdoors activity. It is very light to carry and can easily be packed in the car. Overall it measures about 16” x 13” x 3.5 “ thick. The blue foam that is the cushion is very supportive yet does have some give to it. Actually, I have been using this cushion daily in my office chair, and I love it. I’ve had less back pain since putting this in my chair. I am a telecommuter and sit at a desk 8 hours a day. The cushion in my office chair was worn out and I didn’t want to buy a new chair, so I placed this cushion in my office chair and have been using it Mon-Friday for the past 6 weeks and plan to continue using it. I really like this cushion. The heating wires heat up quickly, within about 1 minute I can tell that my bottom is starting to get nice and toasty. There is low, medium, and high setting. To power on the seat, plug it into an appropriate battery pack or power source, hold the power button for about 3 second, select low, medium or high, and turn it off by holding the power button for about 3 second. The battery does NOT come with this cushion, so the actual run time will depend on the battery one purchases. Which brings me to the second downside to this cushion. The little pouch that is sewn in is too small. The battery I purchased is about 5” long and it does not fit into the pouch. I had to find something else to store the battery in and clip it onto the cushion. This poses a problem, as the USB to plug into the battery is only about 3.5” long, so I can’t securely put the battery in the pouch with the wire, it has to just kind of sit in there, unzipped and I have to be careful it doesn’t fall out when in use. The wires are sewn into the fabric, they are not the big black stripes going down the cushion, so the heating wires don’t poke into my skin, I don’t even feel them when sitting on this cushion. Another down side to this cushion is that the actual heating area is about 11” x 8 ¼ “. That is fine for myself, as I am a small woman, but a larger person mind find it doesn’t warm up enough of their backside. The top part of the cushion cover seems like a water resistant canvas and the bottom is a plastic like material. There is a rather long strap that can be used to keep the cushion in place. The zipper to both the cushion cover and to the battery pouch is made of plastic teeth and tends to be difficult to zip and unzip, not that I plan on unzipping the cushion often, but it is an issue. Overall, this is a comfortable, portable cushion at a reasonable price. Despite the heating area being smaller than the actual cushion, the battery pouch being too small, and the zippers sticking, this is a solid product. I would recommend it to anyone that would benefit from having a firm, heated seat, whether hunting, camping, going to an outdoor concert or sporting event. I have an elderly friend that wanted to get out deer hunting this year and I jumped on the opportunity to take him out. He is in his early 90's so I wanted to make sure I kept him as comfortable as possible. We sat in the blind 16 hours over the weekend, with him using this seat the whole time. He was very appreciative of having it and said it was very comfortable the whole time. The heating feature is nice and works well also. The pad never made a sound against the plastic folding chair he was sitting in. I normally hunt from my climber but will definitely take it along for myself to try out in a tree stand next time I am using one. The fact it did the job for him this weekend is enough for me to give it 5 stars. ... show more

I honestly couldn’t tell the difference in sitting in this seat versus not sitting in it. It did add extra padding and kept me from getting my but soaked by the rain covered seat. The padding made me sit a little high for our stand.

Appearance wise it looks pretty good as far as the camo goes. Size is about perfect for sitting on bleachers and my treestand seat. Very comfortable, and does not flatten too much. I have sat on bleachers, different treestand seats and even the hard cold ground and was never uncomfortable and I have never needed to turn the heat on to keep my behind warm even down in the teens for temperature. My problem with it is the battery pack pouch does not fit some of my battery packs that are about the size of an iPhone. Not a big deal. My biggest complaint is that the clips that are attached to the actual seat that you can attach the securing strap to were not sewn into the cover very well and all have ripped out making it impossible to secure the the cushion to my treestand seat. All other aspects of the exterior have held up to different elements. Wanted to give five stars but can’t with the quality of the strap stitching. Great product for the price ... show more

Warms up quickly and retains the heat. I read other reviews about it being too firm but I thought it felt great. I guess it depends on body type. I’m 5’10” & weight 220 & this was the perfect balance between being supportive and comfortable. I used my Dewalt battery adapter to power it. I used it for about 30min on the high setting and turned it off and it maintained the heat. ... show more
