It's huge. I have 3 pretty thick blankets in mine, and it holds them well. It looks very good. One caveat, however, is that I think if I did not have mine stuffed full, it probably would not hold its shape well at all. I think that if you want something out in the open that won't always be full, and you want something that holds its shape extremely well, you likely could find better options. Very nice rope style basket. Sturdy and stylish. Great size, with plenty of room for dirty clothes, toys, towels, blankets or whatever you decide to use it for. The handles are equally sturdy and add to the convenience. The only drawback is that it would be a plus to have a reinforced bottom. I love this basket because of the value and size, it's hard to find decent rope baskets for a good price. The colors are muted so it is versatile and can go into any theme designed space. I do want to say the structural support is not there, the edges at the top fold in. If you're filling with toys it is great, if you're filling with pillows and throws it will also be great, but don't expect for the corner of your throw blanket to hang over the top edge and not fold the basket down. This is a well-made and rather large rope style storage basket. This is perfect for toys or for blankets, possibly a laundry hamper. If you have room, I use them quite a bit for blankets, throw pillows, bath towels, and the like. No assembly but you do need to pack them in order to keep their form. Exactly what i was looking for! A large sturdy basket to hold my childrens toys and still look nice in my living room. Its large and pretty sturdy. You can see light through the bottom if you hold it up but there is no sign of weakness so far at all. Its soft but not too soft, the material is still firm. The handles are woven strong and altogether its excellent for my purpose. I will be ordering more of these although I wish there were more colors available. It’s large and stylish, which is great. We got it to hold our blankets. However, even after a couple of weeks of use, the sides are not sturdy at all.
